Campus life at GECV is amazing. There are clubs like Electrical Engineering Student Association, GECV Rocketry Team, NCC Cadets are also trained in the college and many social activities by Prof. Dr. Vaseem Qureshi is initiated to make students aware about literature, art and English language tool The technical facilities and classrooms are not upto the mark as compared to private institutions but much much acceptable in terms of the conditions and working in a better way. As far as we consider that textbook knowledge is not the real world knowledge and that is 100% truth. So in this case scenario, the college helped a lot and took initiatives for students to arrange industrial visits to Thermal Power plant at Wanakbori, Gujarat and Nuclear Power Plant - kakrapar in Gujarat. Also with the support from Govt. of Gujarat, the students were given free 15 days training at international centre of automobile excellence in various technologies like welding. EV technology, Smart manufacturing, 3D CAD Design, CAM, CNC and VMC Mechines etc. So this is a very very amazing thing.

In my college annually many of placement are taken from many students it's around average 7 lakh to 8 lakh per year and average 21 percentage students are taken this placement. And in case those students who not hold that placement opportunities, they are after this course go to in best companies by the other ways and get employability.

Here all the semesters courses and subject is good but in the releteve branch like in computer branch releted subject all not given and another one not releted like work shop was not needed to complete and Information technology student.this type subjects some important in civil, mechanical branchs.that why gtu have to do some changes in branch releted subject.

I choose mechanical becuse its syllabus is perfect and also prefer practical knowledge. Its give me the opportunity to become independent and also self-respected person. I also prefer them if they include cad software in syllabus. I think exams must be taken every Saturday so that student can identify his weakness and also prepare for it.

I want to do something different so I chose Diploma engineering to gain technical knowledge and want to learn some skill The area around the college is average and area needs improvement Exams timing is 90 minutes

I will not have much ideas in term of placements but according to me in 7th sem students are eligible for campus placements.I will heard from 6th sem college allows for internships programs. Last year adani,Nirma,electrotherm,etc .. Companies visited college and hire for job. According to last year data The average package is 4.5LPA and highest package is 7LPA. I my department 37 students placed out of 67.I think it is good. My plan After get degree to job in multinational companies m

the placement of college is average on campus placement is their but it have limited option and so we have find other companies from ourselves but it depend on our which type of placement we chose or we get.
