MDU Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From the fifth semester, students become eligible for campus placements. I have not visited any company and no offered were made to me, I think due to COVID. The average package offered by the companies is 4 lakhs. Companies like IBM, HCL Wipro, the etc company come during placement time.

The place is almost 95% rest of the depend on students, many technical fields and non-technical field's company visiting campus and hire students with an average package of 4 lakhs per annum. And 95% of students get placed in college every year.

4th-year students are eligible for campus placements. Recently Reliance Industries Ltd. visited for a campus placement drive. Many students from the CSE department are placed through Off-campus drives also.

I choose this course because I have an immense interest in business studies And I also want to pursue MBA further so this course is the ideal one for me. There are more than 40 faculties available in my department and students in my class are around 45 Well, some of the teachers are extremely good while some are not. honestly speaking every teacher's aim is to finish the syllabus as soon as possible and yes some teachers teach you very good but their primary goal is to complete the syllabus as soon as possible so I personally believe this syllabus or theory-based approach is not soo good for management students. Exams are conducted semester-wise. First semester exams are usually conducted in February- march or the second semester in july -august. The exam pattern changes every year like there is always a compulsory question and 8 more questions from which you have to attempt only 4. do from 9 questions you have to do 5 questions for 80 marks. paper is moderate and questions come from the syllabus.

Very few placement opportunities are offered to the students. The student is eligible for placement from the 3rd semester. Very few companies visit campus for placements. Companies like Gillette visited campus last year. The student should apply for jobs in the company by themselves.

In the textile trade students are eligible for campus placements in 8th semester but if I am talking about the computer science trade then their campus placement is done in 7th semester. In textile, every year minimum of 10 to 12 companies come for placements. The highest package given by any company is a Trident which is 12 lakh per year and Jordan which is 15 lakh per year and these two companies are textile companies. The percentage of students who are getting placed every year is 100%. My plans after getting the degree is that I want to work in a reputed company.

Placement is there in the college, but it varies from department to department. Like commerce, departments are easily got placed with good packages in their dream company. But, for the science department is difficult to get placed because the science companies visited the college are few. The students with more than 80% generally get the placement. But few companies get hired students of their exams, GD rounds, and HR rounds irrespective of the college score.

The placement of my College is very good. There are so many companies that came in the college, take interviews, and then placed the students . Companies like Infosys, TCS, etc. Every company has its own terms and conditions and those who can fulfill this T&c they are eligible for an interview. Every branch has its own eligibility criteria for getting placement. Like students of computer science branch are having an opportunity for getting a placement in 7th semester but in Textile chemistry department or i can say that in Textile field the opportunity for getting a placement in 8th standard.As of know so many companies are coming in college for placement purpose. Every company has its own eligibility criteria for selecting students but somehow the average percentage is above 60 for every company. My plan after getting this degree is to go for job in the processing department and after that i will try to do higher studies.

I chose this course because i wanted to be a journalist which i am right now. Faculty here is very good, they help you with everything and are perfectly qualified i had one teacher doing phd. All in all they were nice taught a bunch of things to us gave us all the creative freedom and this is the best thing about this course you can be very creative, we made short films, music videos visited news studios, wrote poems and all that you can think of in this field. The exams were conducted regularly and were not that though that one needs to very much extra effort like if u attend the lectures regularly you'll be good

Choose course- I am interested in medicine. I'm a student of 12th class in medical side so I can choose this course. Faculty- full faculty. High knowledge. All teachers are Ph.D. holders. Best teacher. Best knowledge. Best teaching style. Qualification - all teachers are Ph.D. holders. Best Knowledgeable teachers. Review 10/10. Exam- semester system. 1 year 2-time exam. No difficulty to crack the exam. Because teachers are very supportive.
