At JGU, the Office of Career Services puts a lot of effort into preparing us for the competitive industry in digital media, podcasts, investigative reporting, multimedia storytelling, and data journalism. We have an exceptional alumni network with students who have graduated from our college and become political reports at The Hindu or media consultants for the UAE-India council, or even bagged the role of anchors at NewX and ET TV. The dual institutional edge really changed things for me. By the time i hit my Master's year at Westminter, my portfolio would have been already packed. This makes a huge difference when applying for jobs in digital retail or media consulting. Since the school focuses on professional practice and project management, I've become more than just a creative thinker. I feel like a leader who can handle the business and legal side of design in any global market.

During a college event, i met two of many seniors, and they told me that they got jobs in big MNCs, one in Zomato and the other in Genpact, and all this is faciliated by the Office of Career services. the Office of Career services guides us right from the start of the semester. Top companies actively visit the campus to recruit students. Through these placements, students get the oppotunity to work industry leaders and help them by contributing to meaningful projects.

With the consistent support of the ocs, students secure good roles at top media houses, PR agencies, news networks, and international media platforms. One of the alumni of JSJC works at India Today TV as a news reporter, another at ET TV, and another at NewsX Network. These achievements are proof of the strong network of the OCS with various companies and organizations.

My cousin was in the same course i opted for at JSJC, and he is currently working at a PR agency as a senior editor. All this is possible because of the efforts of the Office of Career Services. The Office of Career Services works 24/7 and provides training, including skill-building, guest lectures, workshops, and career guidance. JSJC has many collaborations with top organistaions. It helps us build professional networks and connections.

If you do well at ur internships then it can open way for a job at the same place. You benefit strongly from its academic reputation and global exposure. The Office of Career services or ocs helps make ensures that students are job ready through career counselling, skill building sessions, and multiple networking opportunities. You learn how to network and make industry connection which can eventually help in landing a job.

EY, JP Morgan, Morgan Stanley and all other companies which defies international economics are the ones which recruits students of JGU. Theh even conduct seminars and workshops and tells us the things which we need to add in our arsenal to be fit and ready for placements. Jindal Students of Economics easily score placements worth 5-7 lakhs and nearly all the students who wish for placements gets it too.

At our college IT companies have walked in like nine pins. I am not saying they are falling for us but there's have been a steep follow through of the same. Average placements are less as of now as it is a state where not many IT companies even have their offices but some of them have nailed it by bagging jobs worth 20 lakhs and more.

Khaitan, Marwari & Co, ICJ Lawyers and various other top law firms and Litigation firm's mostly as we are taught Litigation traits in our course. Also, I have plans simple to go to the UK for further studies as our university has tie-ups with them and they help us in getting SOP.
