Placement Experience:
Our college is know for its magnificent placement record.Computer science has placement percent of 98, civil has also 97.24% percent placement rate. Many companies visit our college during placement in this year highest package was offered by atlassian of 83lakh

- single room- In this college single room i liked so much
- mess food-nonveg are given 3 days a week which i like most and veg are also too good
- wifi-wifi is all in the campus so this thing helped me so much
Dislikes
- village area-this college is some near the village area not in the main city
- transport cost-transport cost is high auto driver take high charges for fare
- no airport-no airport in the jamshedpur which i dont like
Placement Experience:
You are allowed to sit for the placement from 7th semester placement is good ,if u are good student an d have good cgpa you will easily get placed with 10+ lpa package and coming to highest ctc it is given by atlassian approx 83lpa and coming to percentage of student placed it will be above 90 percent

- The hostels here are really awesome, Imagine a single room just in the second year.
- The lecture hall has centrelised AC and is really fantastic.
- The placements here are really astounishing.
Dislikes
- The labs are poorly built and maintained.
- Some of the faculty members are sluggish and not too energetic.
- The institute has a very strict 75 percent attendence rule and its very pressurising.
Placement Experience:
The placement in the college is astonishing. last year almost everyone got placed and with big names too.
The biggest company that visits here is Atlassisan, other companies include Amazon, intel, tata, and various other MNCs.
The highest package right now is 83 lakhs given by Atlassian.

- Placement of nit Jamshedpur is very good.
- Infrastructure of the college. Classrooms are centralized ac.
- Faculty are supportive they their student.
Dislikes
- Hostel is lacking of playing indoor games and tv.
- Management is somewhat slow to resolve some issues.
- Gym is available in the college which is need of many students to keep them feet.
Placement Experience:
Placement of the college is very good specially for computer science . Their student get overall more than 95 percent student placed of all branches. According to 2022 the average salary package of computer science was 27 lakh.

- Difficulty traveling from hostel to lecture hall because of large campus
- Un maintained hostel rooms, eg: unpainted walls, leaking faucets
- Work load from the institute and deadlines

One if not two offers are made from companies like Amazon, Deloitte, Atlassian etc
Average packages range from 20 lpa to 40 lpa
Highest range from 60 to 80 lpa
100% students get placed

- Hostel amenities are good, pur supervisor ma'am is just too good,so polite they treat us like their own child, security guards aur also polite.
- Classroom amenities , Library facilities,computer centre,labs and faculties are upto the mark.
- Nescafe,amba store, Indian snacks are few places where we can hang out with our buddies
Dislikes
- They didn't used the campus area properly, only 4 buildings are there which can be shown ..
- Girls have triple occupancy room till 4th year, which is not good as we need some privacy and peace in our placement season
- The bond between seniors and juniors is not good atleast in case of girls.. seniors thinks they r everything and juniors have to obey their each and every statement..
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester, students are eligible to sit in placements.
Companies like Deloitte, Amazon,tata steel,atlassian visit here.approx 1k + offers made here in overall branches .
The highest package was 83 lakhs this year which is given by atlassian 2 from CSE,2 from Electrical and 1 from other. Average package this year was 15.98 lakhs.
According to current statistics approx 97% students get placed here.. and 98 % from CSE got placement..
Firstly I would like to fo job in a tech company and experience corporate society.
After that I would like to explore other things like startup..

- Placements and its hostel facilities getting from 1st yar

- Its infrastructure it can be developed but till not it is under construction
- Strict academics rules and regulations for students
Placement Experience:
Placement and internship sene is quite good from 3rd year student started to get placements and many big conpanies comes to the colleges and the highest pakage offere from college is 83lpa and average is around 15.98 lpa
And nearly 98.8 percent students get placed

- The things I liked the most are placement percentage, good senior junior relation.
Dislikes
- The things I disliked most are fistly our campus is open so the security is hampered.
- The campus is not well organised and It does not have GYM. And also It does not have shop of necessary items.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is quite good and about 80 percent of faculty member are good. I have chosen this course because I am intersested in the works done by engineers.
The teacher has done their phd from IIT and regional institutes.
The teaching style is 50 percent classical and 50 percent modern.
The examination are conducted twice in a semester called as mid semester and end semester. The the examination is moderately difficult to pass.

- Students eco-friendly behaviour and peaceful environment for the students
- Lots of activities was doing in the campus and students geta a good option to participate in this program
- Good relationship of senior and students special of 4 years
Dislikes
- Mess and cafe area food are too worst and water and cleaning facilities are also worst
- Some Faculty and students interaction are very bad
- Lots of activities are not favourable for the students at the exam time

There is a good faculty ratio there is no lack of teachers according to this cours

- Placements offered are excellent, especially for CSE.
- Seniors are probably the biggest assets here. They are very supportive and properly guide us, often at the cost of just a simple appeal.
- Clubs are active and interactive, and offer opportunities for personal and professional growth.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure here isn't adequate. The college has yet to have an auditorium.
- Faculty are not very considerate. Scoring marks is not easy.
- 75% attendance criteria is one of the biggest thorn in the flesh for students.
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for campus placements from 7th semester onwards. Companies like Amazon, Atlassian, Tata steel, Adobe, Paytm visit here. Atlassian was our top recruiter this year, offering a package of 83LPA to six students. Overall average package stands at 16LPA. Overall placement is close to 95%.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
- ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
- CE: Simplex, L&T
- PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors
FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
