- As i am from core branch, so i think placement will be comparitively good from other colleges
- Events conducted in every month, Adressal by our seniors we get to know what to do next in our life
- Assignments given by our seniors for copying them which are there tasks and in return we get treats 😂.
Dislikes
- Strength of beautiful girl in my college.
- No gym in the college, this is the only reason for why i have not opted this college in josaa round.
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year or 5th semester students become eligible for campus placements.
There are various companies visited in our campus likes Tata Steel .
As I am 1st semester i don't know much about placement .
Highest package is around 7 crores and average paclaga was like 10LPA

- Classrooms, because they are air conditioned.
- Faculties, because they are quite helpful and supportive.
- Location, the location where it is situated is very beautiful and surrounded by hills and lakes.
Dislikes
- There is no auditorium in our college which definately affect the large cultural fests.
- Being a badminton player I strongly want our college to build a good badminton court.
- The mess is sometimes not edible and therefore I had to eat from outside or order something.
Placement Experience:
The placements are the main factor why students prefer this college over some other nits.
Campus placements are offered and are quite high. The previous year the highest package was 84 lakhs per annum. The companies which visit here are Amazon, Google, Goldman Sachs, etc.

Placement Experience:
. The semester students become eligible for campus placement is 6th semester in the 3rd year is eligible for the campus placement.
. The highest package and average package as per company and profile ordered is around 12lakhs is average and Above 50 lakhs is highest offered by the companies
. The percentage of the students is minimum 7 cgpa and need skills to get placement in the companies.
.my plans after getting the degree is to do job in the central government sector

- I disliked the less utilization of space in nit jamshedpur
- There is no enthusiasm for startup cultre in nit jamshedpur
- mess food does not match any standards. It is below average
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course has better future .
The faculty student ratio is pretty good which is 1:10
The faculties are well qualified all have completed their phd's from prestigious colleges.
If you study regularly,it is very easy to pass the exams

- the classes are awesome with proper infrastructure.
- Seniors are very supportive, they clarify every small doubts.
- the fest , here every month is full of enjoyment with so many fun activities conducted by different student's club.
Dislikes
- some professors are very strict, they don't give marks even if you're writing the answer.
- class timings , our daily classes begins from 8 am .
- cafeteria , we don't have so many options we have only one Nescafe whose food is very expensive
Placement Experience:
from 6th semester students get eligible for campus placements and schlorships
many companies like Atlassian, Amazon, Tata Motors,core companies and many more visit here.
about the offers made i don't have adequate knowledge as i am in the 1st sem right now.
my plan is to experience corparate life after my degree and excel in that.

- The college is open. There are so many vehicle passes through college this makes crowd
Placement Experience:
The highest package attained by student this year was about 80-85lpa by 5 student. Average package is about 12lpa.About 97-98% of student get placement every year. The placement profile of the nit jamshedpur is very good.

- Coding culture is nice. There a lot of clubs to learn from
- Placement is the main motive for people to take admission here
- New lecture hall complex and hostels are key features here
Dislikes
- Sports culture and infrastructure is not quite good
- College lacks a auditorium which are available in most engineering colleges
- There is not much research work going on in the college

My course of electronics and communication engineering is mixture of electrical engineering and computer science and is opened for opportunities from both
Faculty and student ratio is good.
There are two exams in a semester mid sem and end sem.

- Here sports facilities are good and I like it. And also placement facilities are good. Our campus life is fascinating.
- Here many quiz or hackathon are organised for students.
- Every hostel has a night canteen which I like .
Dislikes
- Campus should be better. More construction are required.
- Here girls are not getting single room even in final year which should be consider for future.
- Academic pressure is real here. We have to attend classes from 8am to 5:30 pm
Placement Experience:
Our campus is known for its placement. Nit Jamshedpur campus placement are getting better per year. Here are some eligibility criteria for sitting in placement like we have to maintain a required cgpa and some technical skills.
Here almost 250+ companies visited in last year some of them are tata steel , tata motors , Godrej , Vedanta , Oracle, Adani, HP , Philips etc.

- The campus is not fully covered and sometimes there are locals in the college

Placement Experience:
Placements in the college are very good and provides a good placement in all branches. In my branch the average CTC is around 27LPA . Even in core branches the placement is above 10LPA.The highest placement in CSE branch is 83 lpa.

- In every month's there are one events or other to uplift your skills
- The senior are very helpfull ,they always shows helping hands whenever you asn from them

- The campus life is not so good because I think we have open campus in our college
- Sex ratio is not so good ,for every girl there are 3-4 boys
- The auto service charge is very high for small distance too you have to rent it and give a large amount

The placement scenario of our college is very good because of that only I have selected this college ,almost every students get placement our college previous year placement percentage was 98% overall so I didn't think about placement right now

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
- ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
- CE: Simplex, L&T
- PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors
FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
