- I liked the library, DJLHC, I LIKED THE INSIDE OF CLASSROMMS ETC.
- I liked the grounds beside our hostels, as there we play cricket,badminton, volleyball etc.
- I liked the behaviour of the teachers of my branch, and they also give marks
Dislikes
- I disliked the jungles made inside our campus,the garbages also I didn't like which is everywhere
- I disliked the inside of hostels, which is very dirty,
- I disliked the food made in the mess, the dogs are allowed to enter into the hostels which I did not like.
Placement Experience:
The placements of our college is best, every student get placed, . If you want to get placed
In any company you have to keep atleast a CGPA OF 7.0, IN JAMSHEDPUR, CORE COMPANIES OF TATA COME and give placements TO STUDENTS OF HAVING MINIMUM CGPA OF 6.5.. PERCENTAGE OF STUDENTS GETTING PLACEMENTS IS 90 PERCENT. HIGHEST PACKAGE OF THE COLLEGE IS 1 CRORE

Course Curriculum Overview:
There are about 124 students and about 30 professors in my department all faculty mem,bers are qualified but since there is no facility for hire and fire hence the donot teach professionally the way they should have taught

- Placement:- there is good placement rate and average placement is good in cse branch
- Fests :- all these are conducted so that students can be stressfree
- Infrastructure:- nitjsr have good infrastructure
Dislikes
- There is no proper maintenance of the infrastructure
- It is open campus so sometimes we have to come before 9 pm
- Academics are very hectic and sometimes teachers doesn't give marks. As the professors are newly appointed
Placement Experience:
When it comes to placement our college have the highest packages in all NIT's. The average package of complete BTech is 20 lacs and the average package of cse branch is 26.63 lacs. And in cse Branch 100% placement is there. The highest packages in our college in this year is 83 lacs . It is offered to 6 students.

- Placements are really amazing they almost beat iits.
- Placement cell are cooperative and they make sure that everyone are placed

- Faculty member are not the top notch level as much in iits
- Miserable condition of sports facility and ground.
- Mess Facility are very poor they unable to meet the requirement of fresh water as well.

Placement is great in our college... Recently 6 students got 83LPA package.. the average package for CSE is 27LPA ..for ECE it's 22 LPA and the placement rate is almost 100% for all the branches including mechanical , electrical , civil, PIE , ECM ...

- professors and seniors are very helpful also very kind and full of generosity
- very nice infrastructure and good conditioned labs
Dislikes
- enterpreneurship is not encouraged here also research is not very peak interest among the students
- library is not 24/7 it is closed on sundays and gets closed after 9pm rest of the days
- students are not given projects every semester to showcase and practically feel about what they learned about every semester.
Placement Experience:
from 3rd year eligible for internships from 4th year placements. companies like tata, tcs, atlassian, axion moblies etc,
highest package from mechanica 83lacs and avg 14 lacs, percentage of students getting placed 98%. my plan is to get a decent job and learn from the industry and real world.

- Infrastructure is good. Environmental conditions are pretty well here.
- All faculty members are supportive. All seniors are also supportive.
- I liked all cultural and technical events organized by my college
Dislikes
- I don't like many industry are near the campus which are harmful for us
- I dislike that sometimes events are organized at the time of examination
- I dislike the whether conditions of jamshedpur. You can easily get fever and cold here
Placement Experience:
After completing 6th semester. Students are eligible for placement by 7 th semester. Many companies visits nit jamshedpur like tcs, tata steel, etc. Last year placement percentage was 98 percent students got placed. My plan is preparing for CAT after completing degree.

- The friend circle with the college offers, the Nescafe laws where we can sit and discuss anything with our friends .
Dislikes
- The entry time of our female friends is only 9:00 p.m.
- Despite being the national institute, it's still has an open campus.
- The college lacks the transportation facilities

- the placement was the best concern of our college as the average package of our college was competing with the average packages of top iits.
The major companies visiting in the campus where Amazon, Atlassian , etc
The highest package in our college was 88 lakh and average package in our computer science branch was 27 lakh.
The average package of our college was around 13 lakh.
In the computer science branch the average placement percentage was 100% and for our college the average placement percentage was around 98%.
After getting a degree my plan is to acquire the best package in the best company as I could grave.

The placements of my college is very good. The student get internships opportunities from 3rd year starting itself . Total no of companies visited our college placements are between 250 to 300 and over 750 offers were made to students by them. The highest package of our college is 83 lpa secured by 6 students in which 3 are from electrical engineering, 1 from computer science , 2 from electronic and communication engineering.In electrical engineering placement percentage is 100% this year. My plans after getting degree is to work as software engineer

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL
- ME: Tata Motors, L&T, Tata Steel, BPCL
- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel
- CE: Simplex, L&T
- PIE: Tata Hitachi, JK Tyre, JK Paper, Tata Motors
FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
