- Academic building is quite the thing to see and study there as it's fascinating
- Supporting and encouraging behaviour of faculties
- Nice campus with greenery all around with necessary shops available
Dislikes
- It's a open campus which can be dangerous sometimes
- There's quite a land of area left for just nothing.
- Many left out land areas can be used to built auditorium which is not there.
Placement Experience:
Placements here are good even better than some NITs which are ranked top above this one . like it's average placement are quite comparable with some top nits . More than 90% students placed is what data from some last year's shows .

- The best thing I liked about the Institute is the placement of this Institute.
Dislikes
- The thing I disliked is that the college is not closed campus.
Placement Experience:
After the second semester you are eligible for the placement.
There were lot of companies including Google, Microsoft, etc that visited our college.
The percentage of placement in the year 2023 is 98.87%.
My plan is to get a placement of above 30 lpa after graduation.

- Like the seniors here too cooperative.Qualified Faculties.
- The lecture hall complex is excellent have very good facilities with 120 students in a class

- Infrastructure is not too good Need to improve in hostel facilities also

Students become eligible for placement in 6th semester.Lots of comapnies including Tata,Delotiee, Atlasian,etc. Highest Pacakage is 83 lakhs and average package is about 15 lakhs. 27 lakhs in CSE department.Placement percentage is above 90 percent

- The professors are friendly and good. Always supportive.
- Many fests and events will be organized throughout the year you will really expirience different different things.
- The main thing which is the placement that you will be worried of which is good.
Dislikes
- The Campus area is bigger but not well utilized.
- The wifi facilities within the hostel you will face some problems regarding that.
- The NIRF ranking is lesser than expected which kinda pisses me
Placement Experience:
The placement is one of the best you will opt to take admission here. The placements in these are better and competes with some of IIT 's and top NIT's. Almost 98% students get placed . The Average package of ECE branch is about 23 lakhs per annum.
After Degree I will get a better job and get settled with my family.

Placement Experience:
From the 6th semester students are ready for campus placement and from 4th semester students are ready for internship.
Last year approx 98% got placed and rest 2%goes for higher studies.
The highest placement is 85lpg got 4 students last year.

Placement Experience:
Campus placement is quite impressive.From 3rd semester onwards students can apply for internship.Students sits for placement in 6-7 th semester generally.Atlassian ,Adobe ,oracle , tekion and several other companies visited our college .The highest package of ece is 84 lpa and average package is 20 lpa and median package is around 18 lpa.Last year 100 percent students got placed in electronics branch.For other branches also the placement is quite good the avg package for other branches is 8 lakhs.
Most of the students opt for placement , some goes for higher studies , some prepare for gate and some do mba after btech.

- (ZERO RAGGING)There is fear of ragging in everyones mind before going to any college and for me it is my first hostel life and i can clearly say that there is zero ragging in our campus.
- (CLASSROOMS)The quality of classrooms in DJLHC is even better than most of the top colleges.
- (HOSTEL LIFE) Hostel life is quite good.
Dislikes
- I disliked the campus life i.e. there is only greenery nothing else.
Placement Experience:
Our college is known for its overwhelming placements.
From 3rd year students are eligible for internship programs and from 4th year they are eligible for placements.
Highest package:-83lpa(To 6 students)
Average Package:-16lpa
Percentage placement:-More then 98%

- the placement of nit jsr because it is comparable to the top nit's and many branches have 100% placement
- the strong alumni network which is a strong support system for the students
- the cultural, technical and sports clubs at college
Dislikes
- it is an open campus so no restriction on outside visitors
- the college life is not at par with some other similar colleges
- most of the campus consists of jungle and the buildings are scattered within it
Placement Experience:
NIT Jamshedpur has a very good placement record with a dedicated training and placement cell that organizes various training programs and workshops. the institute attracts more than 250 recruiters from various sectors such as core engineering, IT, management, and consultancy. Some top recruiters include Atlassian, Tata Motors, Amazon, Adobe, KPMG, ICICI Bank, etc.

Placement of our college are very good it is almost 95%students get placed as per previous years data in which cse and ece and mme have 100% placements in year 2022.many tech companies offer internships for students .in this 2023 year 6 students get pacakage of 83 lakh by tech company from australia

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
