Course Curriculum Overview:
I chose the course because it has high scope and many opportunities in the future as everything is based on technology these days. The faculty-to-student ratio is not known but it's decent. The teachers are among the top 2% in the world.

- I like greenery and the Diamond Jubilee lecture hall this is very beautiful and very special classes are some teachers are very good also.
- The infrastructure is getting day by day better and the senior interaction is also very good our immediate seniors so very good.
- The campus life of the campus life of NIT.
Dislikes
- There match food is very poor and Wi-Fi problem is a big issue for us.
- Campus the campus size is very big in anatomy for but institute can't use properly of their land mostly covered with trees and some area.
- Academic pressure is also a big issue for us some tearches are very strict and rude also.

Placement Experience:
In NIT Jamshedpur students are eligible for campus placements and prepayment offers and internships in 3rd year this year almost 200 + companies were visited and some companies like Adobe Atlas and Tata Motors as Samsung, Tata Steel money view and almost 900 + students got their jobs in our college 83 lakhs only 7 students achieve this package my plans are after getting a degree I will definitely to UPSC preparation

- Hostel Life is really good since we all dont get singel seater ina 2nd year in any clg
- There are really good clubs which do great jobs for personal developement
- Placement is what everyone in my college has come for.
Dislikes
- It has not airport , or an international airport in jamshedpur
- There is no swimmming pool as other nit has to offer
- There is no gym as other nit , iit has to offer
Placement Experience:
Campus placement is what I had aimed for before joining the college since it had a whopping 27 lpa average package being a second tier nit.
We have seen 100 percent placements in our college so far.

- This college is present in jharkhand that's why mainly students are from jharkhand and bihar

Our college has very much good placement record even it beat many top nits and iit among placement. This college has collebration with tata company that the main reasons many people get placed any many other companies also offer high lpa.

- In case of traveling , you may face problem as no airport is available in Jamshedpur and nearest junction is tatanagar.

I have no idea as I am a fresher. For more details, you can go through the official website of NIT Jamshedpur as you get all the details of last year. In my branch, all students are placed as it is 100% placement. My plan after getting the degree is to take a job.

- Campus life is also good as we are exposed to various opportunities and there are many clubs for the all round development of a person.
- Placement of this college has always been outstanding
Dislikes
- The quality of the food in the mess is sometimes very poor and not proper hygienic condition is maintained there.
- The teaching method of the professors is still traditional in which major changes need to be implemented.
Placement Experience:
The placements of the college are the key feature of this college. Not only in cse but the other core branches also get fabulous placements. Students become eligible for placement from 4th yr. Last year 250+ companies visited and 750+ offers were made.
The highest CTC was 83 lpa and the average CTC was 15.98 lpa. 98.87% got placed according to the data.
I also plan to secure a good job after completing my degree.

- Sports facility are quite. Seniors are very friendly they will. Teach you how to play
- Lecture halls are fully air conditioned and a large student accommodation
- Greenery everywhere you will find in this college. And refresh air
Dislikes
- It campus. Roads are not quite good it must be reconstructed
- Ist year hostel should be made more good like 3rd and 4rth year
- Campus should be must be made good for improving ranking
Placement Experience:
From the 7th semester, everybody is able to sit in campus placement.
And many companies visit on a regular basis and offers are very much appreciative.
And all branches have good number of placements and it is 97%.

- Collage is to good. There are very good proffesors in my collage.
- Your infrastructure is also good and we have very big open air oditorium.
- We have very good faculty members and placements is sure in this college.

- Not having chemical branch which instead of good teacher of chemistry.

I chose this course because I think civil engineering is an evergreen branch.
Our faculty members are very good.
They are so helpful.
Most of your professors have done Ph.D. from IIT and their teaching method is so good.
Your term exams are held in 2 months and between them tests are also held by our professors.

- Hostel and mess which provides food at the level of home made
- Location of the college is around the industries.
Dislikes
- Infrastructure here is very worse no important amenities here
- No football Sports ground here only cricket
- No sanitation here in college very dirty roads.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are great here around 100 percent we have seen the previous year. From the 7th sem, we are eligible to sit in the placements.
Around 529 companies visited the previous year.
The highest package was awarded 83 lpa by Atlassian and the average package was 27 lpa for cse branch.

- First year hostel has no good internet connectivity.
- Campus is open, it need to be closed for safety purposes.

from 7th sem students are eligible for placements. Many core companies and top MNCs come to campus such as Adobe, Atlassian, intel, Nvidia, l and t. highest package was 80 lpa and avg was 16 lpa. 97% of students got placement.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
