If we talk about placement then u can easily placed in campus placement. After 6th sem u are eligible for sitting in placements. Many MNCs visit our college for placement they are also core companies. Almost 70 % students are placed in campus placement. With good package. Bt hrere a problem maximum companies are visit and offered a good package like 10 lcs and above are come for software engineers a benefit that even u are not from cs branch u can seat in these companies placements I'm a 2nd year student and preparing for a good package..

Campus placement in our college is one of the best among all the Nits. It comes under rank 10 among 31 nits in terms of placement. You will no need to go for off campus placement. A wide range (more than 100) of companies like Amazon , Qualcomm , Wipro , Flipkart ,Paytm etc. visits NIT Jsr For Placement. The placement scenario is above 95% for CSE, 92% for ECE , other branch placements are also above 80%. For CSE this year highest package is 39 LPA, for ECE 35 LPA. Plan to be placed in Cyber Security Field in big Software Developer Companies.

It provides one of the best placements for core branches.
Students from the 7th semester having no active backlogs are eligible here.

Microsoft,

Paytm.

Which offers pay ranging from 20-40 lakhs.

Placement of college is nice ,approx 86-95 students are placed every year from all branches.Comapny visit in the beginning of 8th semester for placements.Excluding Microsoft approx all company visit here.Previous year highest package was of 70 lakhs of a student in mechanical Branch.I want to pursue mba after btech degree.

Course Curriculum Overview:
All faculty are good in the department of Computer Applications.
All faculty are Ph.D. holders.
I have no idea about the examination because I'm a first-year student.
I chose this course because it provides big exposure, placement and overall development.

From 5th semester onwards company starts visiting for internships and they give pre placement offer if you qualify for all their tests. And from 7th semester all companies visit college for placement and conduct various round for selecting students. In my branch approx 95% students placed of a highest package of 37 lakhs

Our college placement is too good it is counted in top Nit's.
From 6 semesters the students are eligible for campus placements.
There are more than 25 companies are coming to our campus and the total offers are more than 620 every year.
As in the 2021 year, the highest package is 39 lakhs per annum offered by Amazon, and the average package was 9.18 lakhs per annum.
In 2021, more than 92% of students are placed.
To do the job in tata steel.

My friend recently graduated from NIT Jamshedpur. Here is her review.
Location: The campus is located in Adityapur, surrounded by industries. It is a bit away from Tatanagar Railway Station. Since Jamshedpur doesn’t have an airport the best way to reach the campus is from Ranchi via NH-33.
Infrastructure-wise: Both the hostels and the computer centers are revamped. The main buildings of the campus are still under further development but are expected to be in maintenance soon. However, the mega hostels, known as J & K, are an enhanced sight of the campus.
Academics
- The quality of professors or the methodology of their teaching is quite not up to the mark. Few professors of the institute somewhat still follow the old pedagogy and are sometimes not cooperative. On contrary, the newly appointed Ad-hoc faculties are supportive and are willing to guide students.
- Students of the institute perform well in competitive examinations. Many made it to IITs, IIMs, or various international institutes as well.
- The Central Workshop and laboratories, substantially Fluid, Thermodynamics, and Metallurgical are not quite well maintained.
Placement Reports:
A few major recruiting companies are (in respective branches) as follows.
- CSE: Amazon, Microsoft, Adobe, Oracle
- ECE: Amazon, Oracle Finance, Wipro, Mahindra Comviva
- EEE: Tata Steel, JSW Steel, L&T, BPCL

- MME: JSW Steel, Vedanta, Tata Metaliks, Tata Steel

FIITJEE, Rao Academy, Career Point, etc, are examples of coaching institutes that recruited as well. The highest package received was 30 LPA while the average salary was 12 LPA
Extracurricular Activities:
The TechnoManagement fest, Ojass, and Cultural fest, Culfest are the major events of the institute. There are several automobile teams as well, like Team Phoenix, the aircraft team; Team Rays, the hybrid car team and Team Daksh, Off road car team.
