Course Curriculum Overview:

This a very good subject one should join for pursuing science. all faculties are well studied and most have completed their Ph.D. as well. we are of 40 members and each subject has one preferred professor for the subject. faculty will help us to understand in their best way. and they even provide us their number so that we can contact them whenever it is required. one-semester exam with 2 internals is conducted. and CIA., attendance, assignments are often before internals. and as we study much of the syllabus in internals. I didn't find semester exams difficult

If the student has good speaking skills and has good grades he will be easily played. Nearly 65 percent of students get placed every year. I want to complete MSC and PhD after my Bsc course. Companies will reach to our college and take the interviews.

Placement Experience:

There is a placement cell, where you can get the details on the meeting and the companies that would come to place students. You can be in placement cells, you will get all the details. If you do well, it's definite that yoh will be placed. I am not aware of the offers but Goldman Sachs had visited recently. Highest package was 15LPA and Lowest was 5LPA. Around 60% get placed here. My plan is to do masters in my interested subject.

Placement Experience:

The placement has been good in St.Josephs College of Arts and Science. Many multinational companies and many other private companies come here for interviews. About60% of the students got the internship from the college. The top recruiter for our course is Wipro, and around 5%-10% of the students get placed from here. Lab technicians are the top roles offered in our course. The placements for our course are not very high because of the subjects. However, after further studies, things will improve. Professorship and research are the ideal options after B.Sc degree. The reputation for every course has a standard, and in the same way, even our course has a quality. Placement process starts from 3rd year of College ,Since I am not yet into placement, I don't know much about placements.

For sixth semester onwords only the students get placed there are around 240plus companies will come to campus for selection it is glad to me to say that one of senior is serving in a company in which he placed for 40lakh, and this year also this is continued, for ISE branch their is 100% placement record and in the previous year all are placed that is an unbreakable record from UVCE. When you admit to UVCE you will get lot of opportunities plenty of offers and also plenty of good things extra knowledge.

According to the reviews online, Bangalore University (BU) is an average university and is known to be deteriorating day by day.

  • Students are irritated by their evaluation system.
  • They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
  • The faculty never completes the syllabus.
  • The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
  • The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
  • There is a lack of core technical subjects in B.Com.

It is suggested that you do not go for BU, as it won't provide learning and understanding courses, topics and the concepts. It will be better if you opt for VTU instead.
