Placement Experience:

From the 3rd semester, students become eligible for placements and internship. I wish to get placed for a reasonable salary before I get my degree. Almost all the students who take part throughout the placement process somehow get placed. 3 LPA and 4 LPA is common. Other higher packages are very hard to get selected for.

Placement Experience:

The Placements was Good. There were many top companies that came for Placement for different Job Roles. I had 2 Internships during my College days which was a good experience about the market and the work environment. Our college has a very good placement cell, which is handled by an excellent placement management team. Our college offers 100% placement for all the students, who are willing to get placed. An internal interview is held within the college, to make the students free of tension. The placement starts from 5th semester 80% of students get qualified for a good company mostly the starting package company gives is 20000 I can't give more information because I haven't completed my degree yet.

Remarks:

Presidency College is one of the oldest colleges of India, which was established by British India in 1854. This is a government college so the fee structure is very cheap and easily affordable. It also comes under one of the top colleges in India, which is why I chose to study here especially due to the easily affordable fee structure to study this course. The admission is totally based on merit basis followed by an interview by the principal. Quota are also available for ST,SC and specially abled persons. The application process takes place offline and It costs 5rs. My 10+2 mark sheets were required for the admission.

Placement Experience:

The placement cell of the college is very efficient and it ensures all the students with the best possible placement. As a result, the placement cell tries its best to bring in the best companies for recruiting the students. The placement cell also ensures 100% placement to all the students opting for various professional courses. The placement cell provides internship facilities to all the students during their 5th semester. The students who perform extremely well in their internship program are taken care of by the companies during their job recruitment. The placement cell brings in all the big 4 accounting firms of India to the college for recruitment of students and also brings in a lot of other international companies. The students of professional courses are guaranteed with 100% placement and students who have cleared their professional course papers end up getting packages of 7lacks per annum as their starting salary.

  • They tend to check the answer sheets carelessly.
  • The faculty never completes the syllabus.
  • The announcement of results is delayed quite often.
  • The condition of the campus is deteriorating and no action is taken to solve it.
