MAHE Manipal Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I wanted to join in CS branch, but as per my rank, I got only a CSE with a minor in Financial Technology. The faculty-to-student ratio is very high (it's almost 1 teacher for 20 students). The qualifications of the faculty here are mostly Ph.D.'s in their respective interests. The teaching method at MIT is above average. There are term exams called Semesters. There are 2 semesters in each year of B.Tech. It's very difficult to pass as it has a relative grading method with a high intake of students.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible for campus placements. All the ultra-high-end companies visit our campus. The highest package was 45 LPA and the average is around 14 LPA Around 80% of the students do get placed.

The placements in the college is good , last year almost 300 companies came to the college for recruitment and had highest package of 55 lakhs rupees , if you don't want placement you also have an option for higher studies, which I would be opting for.

I don't have much idea about the placements since I joined recently. As far as I know, last year the average package of computer science was 16.92 Lakhs, while the highest package was around 54 lakhs. The average package for all the computer related branches were around 15 lakhs. My plan after getting the degree is to get a job.

I chose Mechanical Engineering due to family reasons. The faculty at MIT is very good for all the courses. All the professors teaching have either done master's or PhD. There are two exams in one sem which are mid-semester and end-semester sems which are 1.5 months apart.

I chose Mechanical Engineering because I am interested in Machine and automotives, this course will help me to form a foundation. The faculty at Manipal are all PHDs mostly and highly experienced in both teaching and handling student problems.

The students are eligible from the 7th semester. Companies such as Amazon Microsoft tcs and others companies visit. The highest package is 55 lpa and the average package is 10 lpa. 75 per cent are eligible for placements

7th semester you are eligible for placements. The highest package is around 54 lpa and the package is like 8 lpa. 75% of students get placements as some go for higher education and some get off-campus placements and just don't clear the cutoffs which is like 7.5 cgpa I will do a job for a year or two then go for a master's abroad.

Students are eligible for placement from the 7th semester onwards, although internship opportunities are there from the 5th sem itself. A plethora of core companies visit the campus and they hire students of all disciplines from different branches. The highest package offered was 54 Lpa, and the average is around 10-12 Lpa. Almost 75-80% of students get placed each year.
