Remarks:

Manipal university offers good placement which is why I opted for this university. Another reason also because of the good campus.it literally has every facility inside its campus. Its has 188 acres. In order to study here I first sat for the MIT entrance test. I had to pay Rs 1200. I also applied from the online college portal for the application form. I submitted my 10+2 marksheets. All my admission procedure was then further done by the university councilor. I also had to sit for the personal interview.

Many comapnies visit to offer placements like infosys, goldmansachs, amazon ,adobe etc (Total 200+) The highest package was 43.31lpa and the average package offered was 7.5lpa. Around 70% of the students get placed. After the degree, I may opt for higher studies.

Placement Experience:

From my seniors, I hear that 20/30 % of students from our college get placed. But now being in my final sem I know the reality. For covid and lockdown, the placement sector has been badly hit. Only a handful of companies came this year (5/6 companies). 4/5 people from our batch are placed but no placement for the big chunk of people. From 5th sem students become eligible for placements but in 5th sem, no company came to our college for placement this year. Only in the 6th sem, the placement cell started. Companies that visited till now ( some of them came to take interns and didn't offer full-time jobs) 1) Clevertize, 2) Social Panga, 3) Robert Bosch GmbH, 4) Saatchi & Saatchi, 5) Publicis, 6)PR Pundit, 7) McKinsey, 8) Edsol Edtech, 9) Momo Media, 10) MSL, 11) Genesis BC, Offers: 1.5-3 LPA (average). I plan to send CVs personally to companies through LINKEDIN and other job search platforms because the college hasn't provided us with good placement offers as claimed.

Remarks:

It's the best. Easy admission process. Crack the entrance exam and be sure about the seats. Good environment to study. Supportive professors. Once I had met with an accident, all the bills was paid from college itself. We have the Mahe Combo card which includes the health insurance for each students of Mahe. I like their method of teaching. Easy adjustable scheduled classes. Good environment with the seniors and juniors. Campus with Anti-ragging. There will be Campus Patrol all the time, so there won't be any trouble. Mahe have got all the facilities. Gym, sports area called Marena, football ground, cricket ground, basketball court and many more.
