Hostel Facilities :

The infrastructure is very good in Indian standards. And placements will be good as we can see lots of companies visiting the campus throughout the year. Now coming to campus because we study here for 4 years. The campus is large enough to have basic facilities like hostels, health care centres, sports facilities etc. The hostels are provided with internet facility and also the basic facilities like water and electricity.

Hostel Facilities :

Hostel infrastructure is not up to the mark,it is ok for sustainability. Water and sanitation facilities are good, laundry facility is also available with reasonable prices, well maintained general washrooms with regular cleaning. There are 3 members per room for first year and there is option for taking single or two members per room during second year of btech. 3rd and final year students have separate rooms for each. There are separate blocks for each year students. Girls have separate hostel blocks which are highly secured. Mess food is good enough which suits for people coming from all over india. Paid canteen is also available for those whose doesn't like to eat food in mess.

Hostel Facilities :

The hostels for first years is quite run down and stuffy and definitely takes some getting used to. One thing everyone finds quite absurd is the indian toilets the communal washrooms. While boys have a room for three, shared by three people, for girls, # of us live in a space really meant for 2. This gets better in later years with newer hostels and single occupancy. Unless you live close by, hostels are compulsory, with no other option nearby such as PG.

Hostel Facilities :

Yes, I had opted for college. The rooms were not ok at the beginning. In the second year however it turned out fine. But the fee is a bit much. 1st year we had 2 sharing rooms but with 3 people in every room. That was a bit congested.

"OUTER VIEW OF NITK SURATHKAL"

A well-situated college in the aspects of nature and climatic conditions. As for me, the education is wonderful, it is a large campus which is having two campuses. The admission process is a bit inadequate as compared to other colleges, I joined this college on 27th July 2019. The reason for choosing this college is that it is one of the top colleges in India in the engineering sector and that too in Karnataka it is situated. I haven't used this college name on any website other than here.

""NITK IS THE BEST FOR ENGINEERING""

Isro is partnering with nitk and has set up a regional academic center for space, research labs, huge research internship opportunity possibly getting recommended for isro placement interview, has shown huge nirf engineering ranking growth from 21 in 2019 to 13 in 2020, all campus renovated without a penny increase in fees, research funding and the placements were record-breaking though given the pandemic situation, with 85% placed in the first round grew to 92% in the second and rest admitted in best universities abroad and at iisc. the whole process of admission was completely online, with no physical document verification as years earlier.

"NITK wonderful place for learning"

Admission procedure to NITK was done by ease without any physical meeting. Admission was completely online. Through Josaa website, you should regularly keep visiting for knowing admission status. Thee College had its own website in which fees was paid through IRIS portal. Admission was secured on 15th of nov. Pros of college: 1.Main reason or plus point of college is Being an NIT. 2.High placement percentage of nearly over 97%. 3.Huge campus of nearly 300 acres. 4.Good instructors who have been highly qualified. Nearly everyone has a research background. Main CONS of college not only this but every college in 2020 is distance learning. Distance learning doesn't develop bonding by teac
