The placement drive of 2019 witnessed 100% placements in BTech and 79% placements in MTech. The highest package offered this year was 39 LPA. The number of PPOs has seen an increase of 25% as compared to previous years. Career Development Centre is the placement cell of NITK. It is the job of CDC to invite companies for recruitment and prepare students for the industry. Adobe, Amazon, Capgemini, Century Link, CITI Bank, Deloitte, Deutsche Bank, Goldman Sachs, JP Morgan Chase, Microsoft, Myntra and Oracle are some of the leading companies visiting this college to hire the students of this college.
Placements are really good and at par with other top NITs. The alumni network is strong and opportunities are good, the CS and IT branches have excellent packages. There is a lot of analyst and a couple of consulting companies that also come for placements and offer an average of 8LPA. companies like Microsoft, Goldman Sachs, texas instruments, Qualcomm, Wells Fargo, fedility visit the college every year. The highest package is for the CS/IT branches usually one of the top companies like Microsoft. Mechanical engineers have a maximum package of 18 lakhs given by PSUs. You become eligible by the 7th semester. At least 40 companies came for placement as far as mechanical was concerned. 99% placement was the going rate at the time. The highest package was I guess USD 200k offered by Microsoft and Google.

From 7 th sem itself students are eligible for placements Many multinational companies like Microsoft ,Amazon , google will visit our college every year. All most all people will be recruited. Highest packages will be 45 lakhs and average packages will be 8 lakhs and 9 lakhs. 92 percentage of students get placed last year and remaining will choose higher studies and startups. I am planning to get the job in multinational company.
The college is probably the best for EEE. Best infrastructure with best faculty is what makes this college best. I choose this course beacuse my father is in the same field and hence i had a interest in it from childhood.
Companies hiring students from our course are Texas Instruments, Qualcomm, Nvidia, NXP, Cypress, Analog Device, Western Digital, and many more. Mostly Roles of design engineers are offered. The highest salary package offered in our course is 42 lakhs per annumand.
The college is among Top 3 NITs and is near my homecity Bangalore. I choose this course because I have interest in computer field. IT provides us with opportunities in different fields and that too with high packages.
The highest salary package offered was 42lpa, the lowest salary package offered was 7lpa and the average salary package offered is 12lpa. Various companies coming here for placements are Qualcomm, Oracle, Microsoft, Facebook etc.
The college is near my homecity i.e around 20km away from bangalore. Being a NIT it has all the facilities required for our branch. I choose this course because i had keen interest in designing parts of machines and vehicles.
Core companies for our branch are little less. Mainly Tata motors, Volvo, bml, Hyundai etc hire students. Highest package by a core company was around 15LPA. Many students sit for CSE placements and get higher packages.
This Nit is in my city and being a NIT it has a standard. It is tough to get admission here and i feel fortunate that i made it. I really like the teachers of the college. I opted this course because i am.passionate about civil engineering.
The top recruiters of our college are Microsoft, Intuit, Sprinkler, Goldman Sachs. The highest salary which was offered was 40lakh per annum.There are not many core jobs, and most of the students end up in software firms.

Placement oppurtunities are extraordinarily. Many top MNCs such as google amazon microsoft have visited and hired students with high packages. I don't know much about the placement procedure but sufficiently maintained cgpa according with innovative project and good communication skills help one to get available for placing. NITK has a vast alumni network and are very helpful in the placement procedure. They are always in contact with our campus members and provide good assistance for upcoming graduates in thier placement process.
