The field I am studying in is biotechnology. The 10th and 12th touches on this field so I got interested in this field. The field excels in combining both technology and biology together, they also implement chemistry, physics, and other subjects together with biology. The implyment of these subjects with biology is what forced me to select this subject. These subjects introduced many things, the most influential and famous one was the COVID-19 vaccines. The biotechnologist around the world made this vaccine possible. They also make various medicines, bio-friendly fertilizers etc.

Last year companies like Wipro, South Indian Bank, Federal Bank and companies from Infopark, the average package is between 1.2LPA and 3.5LPA. the percentage of students getting placement are very low around 15% and 40% percentage of the UG students are going for higher studies without applying for a job. my plan is to get placed on-campus recruitment and go for a good job

The course itself has an outdated syllabus like microprocessor which is not even being used since 2000 all irrelevant in 2024. The course needs an update as soon as possible which should include demanding skills which makes students industry ready.

More than 8 different courses are available to be selected in the college. Two internal exams and model exams are conducted in each semester together with some class tests to evaluate the overall performance of the students. The class timings are from 9 am to 3 pm . There are also some additional courses which are offered from the college which are specific for each department or courses.

It's a good thing to say that all course class were finished on on time,teachers are well awair exams and they thought as practically and technically to participate in exams.they will guide us with previous year question papers and important question

The college management gives a lot of placements here so the students can join here without any fear. they were starting the placement process in the 3rd year and students who were eligible for placements can apply to this so many companies were hiring here such as WIPRO, COGNIZANT etc Students can acquire upto 8.lakh of average package while studying this course as a data scientist or software developer this course will definitely help them. I think 85 % students got there placements through our college and I have to be a software developer after my degree. I think this college will definitely work to the students.

Biotechnology is a booming industry in the world. I had selected this course hoping to achieve a successful career here in India. Little did I know that biotechnology had not picked up its pace yet in India. The exams conducted was frequently with 1 or 2 model exams in each semester for theoretical and practical. This helped us to have enough basic knowledge when we finally pass out. It would be better if more internships and industrial visits are included in the syllabus. It would give a better idea about our future. It will also help us to boost our resume. The jobs in biotechnology offers low salary here but large varities of experience can be gained. This helps us to have a better career outside of India.

Very good placement offers are give to studentby our college. A placement cell is there. Many good companies are approaching. Placement coaching were given frim semester second itself. Many good opportunities are provided by college for placement to students

The fre structure is 23,400 per semester, and there are total of 6 semesters. But i think it has increased now, i dont even know why when the same lab is still there and not much improvement with the whole building for BCA
