DMIMS UG Admission 2021

DMIMS offers various courses at the undergraduate level, namely MBBS (Medicine), BDS (Dental Surgery), B.Sc. Nursing, BAMS (Ayurveda) and BPTh (Physio-Therapy). Admission process consists of admission counseling for those selected on the basis of their performance in the all-India qualifying examination NEET. The All India Rank and percentile obtained in the NEET UG must be submitted to the University, based on which admission will be granted. Candidates must be at least 17 (seventeen) years if age as on the 31st of December of the year of admission, and must have passed / appearing / appeared for 12th class examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology with 60% marks.

  • The test is scheduled to be three hours duration.
  • The test consists of four sections, namely Physics, Chemistry, Zoology and Botany.
  • Four marks are awarded for every correct answer, and one mark is deducted for every incorrect answer.
  • The syllabus includes topics covered at the +2 level in the relevant subjects.
Course Specialisation Eligibility Selection Process
MBBS Medicine Candidates must be at least 17 years of age, and must have passed / appeared for the 10+2 level examination or its equivalent with the subjects of English, Physics, Chemistry & Biology and with 60% marks for this group from a recognized board in the country, i.e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. A 5% relaxation is given for reserved categories. Performance in Entrance Examination
B.Sc. Nursing Candidates must have passed / appeared for 10+2 level examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 45% marks from a recognized board in the country, i.e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. A 5% relaxation is given for reserved categories.
BAMS Ayurveda Medicine and Surgery Candidates must have passed / appeared for 10+2 level examination with English, Physics, Chemistry and Biology with 50% marks from a recognized board in the country, i.e. CBSE / ISC / State Board or the equivalent. Candidates must satisfy the below given eligibility criteria for admission to UG courses:

  • Candidates must have a pass at the 10+2 level in the Science stream to apply.
  • Physics, Chemistry, Biology and English are required as subjects of study at the +2 level for MBBS, BAMS, BDS, and B.Sc. Nursing courses.
  • Reservation is in accordance with the regulations of the Government of India, and a 5% relaxation in the minimum required percentage is given to candidates from these categories.
  • Candidates must be at least 17 years of age to apply.
  • Selection is entrance based, done on the basis of performance in the national level entrance examination NEET.

DMIMS MD, MS Admission 2021

DMIMS offers MD and MS courses at the postgraduate level, with several specialisations being offered. The admission process consists of admission counseling for those selected on the basis of their performance in the all-India qualifying examination NEET. The All India Rank and percentile obtained in the NEET PG must be submitted to the University, based on which admission will be granted. Candidates must be qualified from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India.

  • The test is scheduled to be three and a half hours long.
  • The test consists of 300 questions that cover all relevant areas studied at the undergraduate level.
  • There is no negative marking awarded.

DMIMS Ph.D Admission 2021

DMIMD offers research programmes as well, with several specialisations. The admission process consists of admission counseling for those selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination conducted by DMIMS. Candidates must be qualified from a medical college recognized by the Medical Council of India.

The entrance examination will take place in the 3rd week of January every year. The test is considered as the basis for admission to the Ph.D. programme.

  • The test is scheduled for a period of 100 minutes.
  • The test consists of 100 questions that cover all relevant areas studied at the qualifying level, including 50 marks on research methodology, and 50 marks on subject specific knowledge.
  • There is no negative marking awarded.

Datta Meghe Institute of Medical Sciences Application Process

Candidates who wish to apply may do so by completing all the steps specified in the following application process.

  • Go to the official NEET website and register for the examination by completing all required processes.
  • Register with the DMIMS University as well by filling in the application form from the official university website.
  • Pay the required fee via DD to successfully submit the form to DMIMS.
  • The demand draft must be made in favour of the Competent Authority, DMIMS (DU) payable at Nagpur.
  • Alternatively, the form can be bought and submitted at the college office itself.

DMIMS Scholarship

The University offers scholarships to those from economically backward conditions. Candidates can apply once the official notice is displayed in the University, after commencement of classes. Scholarships are offered to those with exceptional academic merit, or deserving candidates with poor background. Upto 25% fee concession is given. Concession may also be given to those who are wards of the staff of the institution.

Eligibility Criteria For BPT:

Candidates seeking admission to the MBBS/BDS course, who have passed the Higher Secondary Certificate (HSSC) examination/(10+2) or the Indian School Certificate (ISC) Examination or Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) Examination or any other examination equivalent to (10+2) HSSC examination of any recognized Board/University, from any school/college situated in India after 12 years of study with a minimum of 50% (i.e. 150 out of 300 marks) in the subjects of Physics, Chemistry, Biology and passes English subject, and shall qualify the NEET Examination conducted by Govt. of India.

Admission Criteria:

Candidate must be an Indian National and should have completed 17 years of age on or before 31st December of concern academic year.
