Mumbai University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The college has good opportunities for the student's placement cell which objects to prepare students for difficulties. Some of the companies that visited the campus for placements are HDFC Bank Aditya Birla capital. 42 to 60% of students got placements in campus placement. My plan degree is to pursue MBA from SP Jain College.

B.E is a course of 4 years which has a total of 8 semesters.Every year there are 2 semesters with a gap of 4 months to complete syllabus.there will be two mid term exams every semester which is quite easy to pass.I choose this course because i was very intrested in computers,software and technology from a young age and i think VOGCE is the best college for B.E in Maharashtra.The faculty student ratio in our college is 1:55 which is not that good.The faculty at vogce is well experienced and have good teaching skills.They are friendly with everyone and help students in clearing doubts.

From Second Year students become eligible to take part in internship or campus placement. There are many companies which came on campus placement like Synergy Heathtek , Flipkart Private Limited etc. Companies provide different opportunities with different packages which start from 10,000 to 15,000 and students can get extra payment for Overtime , Bonus etc. Nearly 60% students get selected for placement . My plan is to do Post - Graduate and also do a job with it. I will continue to learn.

From thebegining of the 5th semester we can avail for the campus placements.L S Raheja College does not offer placements as such, but often companies like Motilal Oswal come for campus recruitment. Motilal Oswal is a frequent recruiter along with TCS. As a fresher you can expect cost to company (CTC) as per industry standards (around 12k-20k). After getting the degree my plan is to do CFA.

I chose this course because I am a writer and I want to enhance my writing skills and at the same time increase my knowledge and look at things in a different yet true perspective, from the eyes of a journalist, not the one who creates and sells news but the one who presents facts neutrally. The faculties are excellent. The college management makes sure the students receive best education so they hire professionals who actually have experience of working in the subject they are teaching. The teaching method is also very interactive and engaging. The faculties use various examples and assignments to put our skills to the test and to give us practical experience of the subject. The exams were always scheduled as per the University mandate and it depends on how attentive you were during the lectures to determine the difficulty level of the test.

The course is for the students who is good in Maths , Accounts as well as economics and I am one of that students and hence I choose this course. The faculty has huge silt area where students can roam , play and do many things. The teachers are good snd teaches well . The teaching staff is really good. The term exams are conducted in 5 months and are difficult to pass. Students need to study well.

Placements are taken place in the fifth and sixth semesters. The companies with higher level tie-ups and middle range of annual revenues are visited. Average packages are from 150000- 250000. All students with first-class to passed class are available to take part in placements.

Students get placement opportunities when they get in their last year. As colleges have ties to some companies who provide training and job placements to students via a course which is free of cost, it's very easy for students to get placements. Highest average package a student can get is 350000 per year. Around 80% students who apply get definite placements.

In 3rd year students can get opportunities for campus placements. The highest package is 4 lakhs and the average is basically 2.5 lakhs. Due to COVID it's maybe around 50 percent not known accurately. Doing the job in the accounting and finance sector.

So the reason I enrolled for the Bcom course was that along with it I wanted to pursue CMA. The teachers are up to the mark in teaching but some of them lack some knowledge in a few concepts. All have their masters done and some have doctorates as well. The teaching method is all proper. The exams were taken on the OFFEE platform online this year so it was easy otherwise written paper is somewhat hard.
