Placement Experience:

From sem V students are eligible for placement. Different companies visit our college for placement like Wipro, Deloitte etc. Around 5% of students may be getting placement. The highest package during my time was 50 LPA. My plan after completing the course was to start my own business on which I am working currently.

Remarks:

I choose this college because i might dare to say it has one of the best placements for B.Sc IT couse, recently they even tied up SBI to provide students job opportunity there. Not only that there are various other top companies lik L&T, Wipro, Infosys, TCS, etc selecting atleast a dozen students every year from this college. The placement cell head was one of our teaching staff and she works really hard for the students. The college also went autonomous (affiliated wid mumbai university) and it really helped with the grades of students. college gives a lot of opportunities for self development to students the only bad thing i might say that it wasn't strict wid attendance with the autonomous tag it even got reduced to 60% attendance from university's mandatory 75% percentage. The admission process is simple you just have to follow the mumbai university guidelines for getting admission (online process) and if for master degree you have to go to the college, enquire and apply. Offline admission to many bachelor's course is also there, you just need to go and talk with the staff. The reason i chose this college is that it isn't very huge and thus teachers take efforts to help students in every possible way (academic or extra curriculum). The college also takes extra care as to keep the environment inside and outside the college healthy.

Remarks:

I chose this college since it was going to be autonomous in a few years which it got while I was in final year of my engineering. This College had a good name in campus placement which is considered a very essential factor while selecting engineering colleges. Admission process is done through CAP round. One of the other reason was also this college is a Hindu minority college.

Placement Experience:

Campus placement starts from September mostly and it's going on till March/April. They do place 97 % or maybe 100%, few search jobs on their own or go for their own startup. Even in the worst case scenario, I think the strong network of alumni comes to the rescue and they are approachable, helpful and humble too. Many banks like ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDBI, CITI and IT companies like Infosys, Capgemini comes to campus. Roughly a minimum of 20-30 companies does come from small to big. Also Big 4 and other consulting companies like PwC, E&Y, Deloitte, GEP, etc, along with Finance, Insurance, Media, Hospitals and international companies comes on campus. A giant company like Amazon also take few students. The average package is 8.5 lakhs mostly and the highest being 13/14 lakhs in India. More of the profiles come for sales and marketing roles but there are many different roles offered by different companies.

Placement Experience:

College induction started on 23rd August for me. Students are eligible for internship placements from day 1 (provided you surpass the min criteria kept by visiting companies). Very first company to visit campus for an internship was Morgan Stanley with 50k stipend (took 6 from campus with 2 students from BD batch for accounting profile) follwed by GEP, Infosys (30k stipend). And 1 month later companies started visiting very frequently. The entire batch got placed for intern by April end (90% placements assisted by placement council). With avg stipend of 10k and the highest stipend 50k. I wish to pursue my career either in market research or project management profile.

Placement Experience:

100% placements Clg provides plenty of opportunities but doesn't spoon-feed Almost every single student gets placed from clg for summer internships (SIP) Only 5-10 % of students get PPO offers post SIP Executive placements are also very good, all popular software and consulting companies come for campus placement drives. A lot of Mumbai-based firms also come. List of few top companies: Accenture, Deloitte, EY, Infosys, Capgemini, Cognizant, Wipro, Amazon, Tata Power, Eldewise, ICICI BANK, AXIS BANK, HDFC, Vodafone, etc.

Mumbai University does not offer a Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) in Aviation but you can apply to other colleges such as Vels Institute of Science, Technology and Advanced Studies (VISTAS) Chennai, University Of Petroleum And Energy Studies (UPES), AIMS Institute, etc.
