From my childhood I liked high rise structures, dams,etc so i took CIVIL engineering course. the faculty student ratio is 1:30. The faculty are well qulified and has best experience of handling and managing students. The faculties always challenges them self as well as students to be creative. The term exams are mostly in 4-5 months and papers are from the syllabus.

I selected this course because of my interest in this field and the growing need for automation in today's world. FCRIT has one of the best teaching highly qualified faculty. The faculty is very helpful and guides us in every aspect. There are guides assigned to each group for helping them with difficulties in projects and other stuff. The faculty ensures that every student understands the concept taught in the lecture. There are revision sessions scheduled regularly in which students can get their doubts cleared. Teachers encourage us to participate in competitions, coding contests, and technical paper writing as well, thereby giving us opportunities to improve our resumes. We have Assignment tests, Internal assessments(IA) and Preliminary exams. The assignment tests and IA exams are easy to pass provided you are thorough with the concepts and helps in preparation for the end semester exam.

The student becomes eligible for placements after their 7th semester. The training for the placements starts from the 5th semester itself. Many reputed companies like TCS, LTI do come to recruit the students. There is a portal provided by the placement cell which helps in keeping a track of all the companies which are visiting the college. Around 47 students were placed in the year 2020 from the IT department with a maximum CTC 7.00

There is an infinite number of IT companies that visit the college. Core companies are less but they are one of the best in their field.The highest package for the core will be around 6-8 LPA. Placement cell takes very less initiative in bringing new companies to the campus placement. But the training provided is good. Also, there will be very tricky rules as to how to limit a good student from getting placed in more than 1 tier one company. There is no choice given to sit for another company if you are already placed with a core company with the average package

Students are offered internships during the 3rd year and Placement in the final year by TPO. A lot of companies like Morgan Stanley, Goldman Sachs, Amazon, SAP Labs, Oracle, Citi, JP Morgan, Accolite, Barclays, Samsung, Udaan, PWC, UBS, Fractal, Deloitte, Deutsche, Rakuten, IBM, MSCI visit campus regularly. These stats are for CE IT only. Above 95% students got placement. Many students also go for MS directly. Highest domestic package offered for batch of 2020 was around 32lakhs. Average package can be around 10lacs. Most profiles are SDE or analyst.

The faculty in FCRIT Vashi is very supportive and helpful. They constantly encourage us and try to make us get used to the industry pressure. All the assignment tests and prelims before the end sem help a lot cause for the end sem we need to revise and focus on our weak subjects. All the dues and project deadlines help us to inculcate the value of punctuality and discipline. The teachers are highly knowledgeable and educated and provide us with great insights. All of them have an MSc and most of them have PhDs or are pursuing PhDs in their respective fields

Students are eligible for placements after the 4th year. Many companies visit the campus for placement like a shell, LTI, TCS, Ingram, and many others. The packages depend on which company is making the offer. There were 1486 offers made for placement. After getting the degree, I would like to work for two years and the do my masters.

The college provides great placement opportunities. From semester 7, we are eligible to sit for campus placements. Various companies come for hiring with different packages ranging from 3-7.5 LPA. Placement training is provided beforehand and it helps us in the placement procedure. The average package would be around 3.5 lakhs and the highest can be 7.5 lakhs. Around 70 percent of eligible students are placed in a company. Some even opt for higher studies.

Students are eligible for placements in the last year. However, placement training is provided from the third year itself. Companies like TCS, CarWale, LTI, etc. come every year with various packages.

The placement process starts from the 7th semester of college. The training for which starts prior to it (semester 6). We have many companies like TCS, LTI, Carwale, etc. that visit the campus. Our placement cell has a separate portal. This portal has been very helpful in keeping track of all the visiting companies. Communication with the placement team is very transparent. Thus, any issues get solved easily.
