Mumbai University Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I was really confused between BMS or BFM. I surely want to learn and work in finance industry but I didn't know what to choose as BFM is only Finance and BMS has options of marketing, HR and Finance. So even if i wanted to change stream it would be very easy for me to do so compared to BFM. I don't think the difficulty of my course will be of any help because of NEP (new education policy)

Honestly speaking its a good degree to give you validation across the industries but out of what is taught barely 20% comes to application when it is working in the industry it is just for the sake of it. the university syllabus’s are totally outdated going back to teaching tech from 2005. The world of advertising keeps on updating. there is no performance marketing included as it is mostly the major part of advertising. There is no creative thinking taught. I personally feel that the course and the syllabuses need to be updated every based on the case studies from the advertising world. Also lot of on field activities are to be conducted so one can get an overall idea of the process.

i wanted to help my father in his business that was the main reason to pick bmthis course and i wanted to explore more career opportunities it. the exams are not very hard they are moderate. the teachers make it easier for us

Students get eligible after sem 6 Name of the companies: Tata, idbi, axis, hdfc, motilal oswal, JP morgan. Average package: 400000 and highest: 1400000 Percentage: 70% are getting placements. My plan is to apply for JP morgan and continue my masters

I took bcom because my father belongs from a business background To better understand about the compilations Accounts have to be taught more seriously Moreover it is of 2 hours exam and difficulties are not so much to be faced if you've studied or else its too difficult

Well the teaching faculty and few subjects that i got to learn in my sem 1 and 2 really helped me get clear in my lind about my potential future job cause i got to have a lil experience in that field like ccpr.

Okay yeah so I have heard about the placements I have talked to the seniors that all the placement is not very bad for the starting startup I mean starting placements at a 6 lakh per annum and I don't feel that it is very bad you know as you grow up and learn new stuff you have more experience it can be increased so it is a lot of stove for the business administration people they get to learn how to you know improve your personality and also yeah it is great.

I was preparing for UPSC so that was the main reason I choose bachelors in commerce because I wanted a easier subject while I was preparing for UPSC. BCom allows individual to go in any field which other speciallized courses don't allow

I think it is good as per my thinking with various subjects that has newly been into the curriculum for the students which might help them in future except for the theory subject which students always avoid to learn. An engaging curriculum is made by them.

The course is good if the person is interested in take particular course the he or she should take and if not then they should not waste their time and money in that course the time of exams is 3 hrs the students are having ample of time to think and write their paper properly
