- Teachers are well, good and caring. they make us feel like a school.

- I don't like many things in college. Such worse environment in our college. Always people try to quarrel in with us.
- Food of the canteen is very bad also not a single shop is in the 125acres of campus

Placement in my college is very good. Every year they provide 95% placement. And all placement are very good and yhe package is very good. Companies like zomato, osrtc, bira, and all comes to the college for providing placements.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I would like to say now i take computer science engineering course in btech.This is the best course for all the students who loves coding and computer. It also improve our coding level and strategy. thank you.

Course Curriculum Overview:
In the institution they are preparing us for real world so there are various activities which enhances the students insight on different technologies . The workshops of different clubs and activities are also very helpful in this area. But the study pressure is real and they aren't caring about the students mental health at all so that need to be improved.

Placement Experience:
The placement percentage in this year is 70% . It is not good but not very bad. Last year the highest package was 23 lakhs per annum that was in EEE department but in CSE branch the highest package is 21 lakhs per annum

- Academics. Silicon is very strict when it comes to academics. We have regular classes and proper attendance is maintained. Faculties are quite dedicated and do anything in power to make their students understand the subject matter.
- Extra-curricular activities: Silicon promotes extra curricular activities, it often conducts events to promote the all round development of its students. Sports, cultural, photography, there's always something for everyone here.
- Campus: The campus is extremely beautiful. With trees all around, well-maintained streets, Silicon has one of the beautiful campus in Bhubaneswar. Proper sanitation and cleanliness is maintained in the campus. Everyone can chill in the campus.
Dislikes
- Canteen Food: Silicon can greatly improve the canteen food. The food lacks taste though proper quality and sanitation is maintained in the canteens, they can improve the taste. Also they need to change the menu in some intervals.
- Rules: There are a lot of rules which can be made a bit lenient for the students. The institute is stricter for everyone so they can remove some rules.
Placement Experience:
For campus placements students are eligible after 6th semesters where companies visit for internship and placements. We get placements offer from Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Infosys, IBM, Haber, HP Labs, Surya Software, Aptus Data Labs, Scaledge, Tata Powers, Squbix and many more. In 2024 the highest package was grabbed by a student from Flipkart which was 32.5 LPA offcampus. Average package is about 5 LPA, which again differs year to year. Percentage of students being placed is more than 80%. After degree I would like to work in a web development role.

Many companies comes for placement and nist alumni is very big so in every company 1 or 2 nist passout students are there . Now zenus, Wipro ,tcs , cognizant and Accenture and PWC and many companies comes for placement program

- I liked the food for odisha food it is good. I mean except for some food items. Staff is preety helpful
- The gym is also good and all the clubs too
- Education in general is good. Good lectures and Notes. If you pay full attention in the class you will understand preety much everything

- In this college I like the environment and building from outside not from inside.
- Some faculties are there whose teaching style is much better and they interact with students I like this type of facilities.
- I like the function of this college.In functions we enjoyed a lot .very less number of functions are celebrating.
Dislikes
- In hostel I don't like to stay because food is not good it's like average.Cleanless is not there.
- In college class room are not clean inside the classroom dog is there hostel to college path is not good like not clean
- Boys girls Bonding is there but many boys are irritating inside the classroom
Course Curriculum Overview:
Student teacher interaction improvement is must needed.
Cleanliness improvement (classroom clean, hostel clean )
There are many servant still cleanliness is not there.
After 2month mid semester is coming and after 4Month semester there are no time for studying.Time is very less although our course also not completed teachers are teaching very quickly so we don't understand anything You should have to give some time for studying and rivision.
In berhampur NIST is best college for engineering so I choose this.
