The ME in Electrical Engineering is a broader program covering power systems, machines, control systems, and other electrical domains. If you want to specifically work in the EV industry, the ME in EV Technology is the better choice as it provides targeted knowledge and industry connections. If you want a broader career in electrical engineering with flexibility to move across sectors, ME in Electrical Engineering may be more suitable.
Ques. Can I pursue this program if my background is in Mechanical Engineering rather than Electrical Engineering?
Ans. Yes, the ME in Electric Vehicle Technology is an interdisciplinary program and accepts candidates from relevant engineering backgrounds including Mechanical Engineering, provided they have at least 55% marks in their qualifying degree.
