Ques. Is 75% attendance compulsory at Chandigarh University?
Ans. Yes, Chandigarh University generally requires students to maintain 75% attendance in each subject. Its official evaluation policy states that students falling short of the prescribed attendance requirement receive an incomplete grade and must register for the course again when offered, subject to applicable rules. Students should attend classes regularly rather than assume that attendance shortages will automatically be waived.
Ques. Will I lose my CUCET scholarship if I do not pay the seat-booking fee immediately?
Ans. Not necessarily, but you should not assume that your scholarship will remain valid indefinitely without confirmation. Chandigarh University applicants have reported conflicting advice about seat-booking deadlines. Assessment is not limited to end-semester examinations: the university also considers mid-semester exams, quizzes, laboratory evaluations, assignments, tutorials and seminars. Students who attend classes, complete internal assessments and practise previous course material regularly are generally better prepared than those who study only before final exams.
Ques. Can students at Chandigarh University participate in hackathons and internships outside campus?
