I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

From 6th semester students become eligible for campus placements..google, microsoft, wipro ,infosys,ibm etc visited and the number of placement offered are around 6647 . The highest package is 35lpa. Average package is 6.5 lpa . 75 percent students getting placements from my course . I will do m.sc in python because i have alot of interest in python.

The respective departments have tie-ups with industry for providing Internships to the students. The guest lectures, conferences, and seminars are conducted to help the students know more about the current trends in the industry for getting jobs. The entrepreneurship cell guides the students in initiating start-up ideas. The faculty is very much active in organizing placement drives and providing the essential training to students for interview preparation.

For 6 semesters we are able to get a job by college. Many companies like google amazon and other big companies hire students highest package is 36 lacs. Avg is 450000. I want to go Canada as a software engineer.

And I know that replacement starting from after the 8th sem or from Santoshi I not that the placement started before 8 semester as we know the highest package of our colleges about 12 lakh and the average package is about 4 lakh and as I know the about 50% students are placed in my branch BTech CSE and after I got the degree I will think about good placement and a good company organ to abroad to my father and or I am went to Canada for this advanced degree I am also preparing for GATE exam

From the 7th and 8th semesters, students become eligible for campus placements. Several companies like TATA, Jaypee, L&T, Gammon India, and Hinduja limited visited and made no. of offers. The highest of 12 lakh and an average of 4.5 lakh package is given to students. Approx 30% of students get placed every year. I will go for m.tech.

Students get eligible for campus placements in their 7th semester. Students can apply for placements on campus or it can be off. Campus as well. Companies that visit our college are Google, Microsoft, TCS, Amazon, Cogni, etc. The average package offered is around 4lacs for Computer science Students. And 90% of students got placed with an average package of 4 lacs.

After 8th semester,we are eligible for campus placements.we are in the second batch after clg took affiliation from University so from engineering block companies visited in the year 2023 and the our seniors getting placements then we will see.But the staff from the first day of our clg starting preparing for the interviews.

From the 6th semester students become available for college placements. The campus placements rate is 100% in the last 3 years in CSE. The highest package recorded is 16 LPA this year and the average is 10 LPA

Students become eligible for placements after completing their 6th semester and after that they can apply for a campus placement. Companies that visits to the campus are Cogni , TCS , Samsung , Tata etc and average package offered by them is around 3-4 lacs per Annum. In CSE department around 95% students got placed in the campus. And I also want to be placed in Samsung company in around 5lacs .

On campus placements are provided and almost everyone is placed into a mass-recruiter(tcs, etc) with 4-5lpa sallery. Which is a downside but you can grow and even apply for off campus placements. In punjab GNDEC has a good reputation and many offer good packages to our students. The alumini network is also good they visit campus time to time. As a fun fact famous Punjabi singer SIDHU MOOSE WALA is also from our college.
