I.K. Gujral Punjab Technical University Jalandhar Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

After the 4th semester, students become eligible for the campus placements. Many companies such as ACCENTURE, ASSENCIA, HDFC, AMUL etc visit in the college and approx 15-20 students per company are being placed by each company. The average package is 240000 per year. Students getting placed are very meritorious and intelligent having a good percentile in their courses. My plans after the degree was to be a marekting person coz I think marketing is the future.

The college has average placement offers but the companies that participate in the college placement drive are very good. Axis Bank, HDFC Bank, TATA Motors, TCS, Tech Mahindra, Wipro, Infosys are some of the companies that participate in the college placement drive and the highest placement offers to go up to 16 LPA and the average salary offer is around 7 LPA which is quite decent in comparison to other universities in our state or can say that the placement offer is high in comparison to our state universities.

Students are eligible after 7 sem for their placements from 7 to 8 th sem students should complete their training of 6 months from outside of the college the college also provides six sigma course which are almost very less provided by the other institutions

from 6th semester students are eligible for placements. Google, Mircrosoft, and many componies are coming here for interships as well as placements. Many students get PPO. Ther is 100% placemet of 2021. I want to go in reserch field after my college.

My elder brother is a student of the same college, he suggested I opt for computer science. the ratio of faculty and student is 30:2. Very expert faculties! All faculties are M.Tech ( some of Ph.D.). Exams are easy if you study hard!

As I choose the course because of the high opportunities in the country and abroad. The faculty was such a great and supportive faculty they support us every way they were so helpful in every aspect. We were nearly 160 students in two sections and 11 faculty members in our department. All the teachers in our department were highly qualified all of them had done their M. Tech degrees in their particular subjects. The way of teaching was so impressive that everyone use to understand each and everything. And if anybody were having any doubts they use to clear it in their free class. We were having 3 Mid-session Exams during one semester out of three everyone should have qualified 2 exams for appearing in Semester exams almost all students used to qualify for every MId session exam.

From the 6th semester, students become available for college placements. The campus placements rate is 100% in the last 3 years in my department(CSE). The highest package recorded is 16 LPA this year and the average is 5LPA. Some companies that visit our college for placements are Wipro, Infosys, tcs, etc.

In 5 or 6 semesters students get eligible for campus placement. 500+ company visits to our college with 800+ plus offers. The highest package was 45 lakh and the average package was 5.5 lakh. 97 percentage students got placed and others opted for higher studies.

One of the best-rated colleges in Ludhiana for business studies. The faculty is well experienced and professional. The regular tests, quizzes, projects, etc help the students to excel. Organizational visits and guest lectures on current trends are the key points of this college.

The college is an advent to provide internships and training to both undergraduate and post-graduate students. For that, the college has tied up with many companies. The college provides training for soft skills and interview preparation to students. Every year, a placement drive is organized where the students fulfilling the necessary criteria and are made to undergo interviews. The average package offered to MBA students every year is around 2 LPA.
