Campus placement is for those students who are in their last year. We came across campus placement when we reached the 7th semester. The eligibility criteria for the campus placement used to be B. Tech percentage, and AMCAT scores. Around 300-400 companies visited our campus. Even colleges are also giving chances to students who are still unplaced. The highest package offered was around 32 lacs per annum. Whereas, the average package came out to 6-7 lacs per annum. Job profiles were mostly for HR, Business, and technical-based profiles. Around 80-90% of students are placed and the drive is still going on. Even I got placed in Wipro with a package of 3.5 lacs per annum. However, my aim is to work hard to get better exposure in the IT industry.

Placements start from the end of 3rd year or after your 6th semester. There were almost all of the top IT companies visiting the college including Microsoft, Google, Epam, Wipro, Walmart Labs, Capgemini, and many more. The average package is 4.2 LPA and the highest package offered was 34Lpa. However, for the ECE department, there are very few companies visiting the college. Thus, it is highly advisable that if you are looking for IT jobs you can come here. Almost 70% of ECE students have got placed from our batch. However, I don't blame the institute for the unplaced students as enough opportunities were given to them. Thus, it all depends on the students whether they can use the opportunity to the fullest.

From the 6th semester, students are eligible to sit in placements after the 6th-semester companies start visiting the campus very frequently companies like amazon, direct I, google, navigus, tivo, fico, TEKsystems, Vivo, Wipro, CTS, Capgemini, and many more visited our campus. the highest package was 32.5 lakhs offered by media, net and the avg salary offered at college was 4-5LPA almost 80-85% of students get placed my plan is to continue working with its this year as a programmer analyst

From the 3rd year, students are eligible for placements. More than 500 companies visited on the campus some of the companies like Wipro, cognizant, Capgemini, Deloitte, Microsoft, Google Amazon, etc. I made two offers 1st is Mobile Programing and 2nd is DXC technology. The highest package is 34 lacks which offered by amazon approx 80%-90% of students placed. I will join DXC technology after degree.

The placement provided by our colleges is great In North India no college will provide placements like CGC Landran. This year almost 600+ companies visited our college for the placements and 80% of the students have been placed in good companies. The top companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Wipro, Cognizant, and more companies visit every year in our college. The highest package provided was 30 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The average package provided by the companies was 4 LPA. There are so many profiles offered by the companies it is as per a student's choice in which profile they want to go. The profiles are provided by companies such as software developers, business analysts, quality analysts, sales executives, and so many profiles.

The students become eligible for placements from the seventh semester. Highly reputed companies such as WIPRO, TCS, COGNIZANT, CAPGEMINI, AMAZON, RADISSON BLU, BIRLASOFT and many more visited to offer placements to students. In ECE there were approximately 350 students out of which around 250 got placed. The highest package offered was 32 LAKH by AMAZON. The average package was 3 to 3.5 lakh. Around 70 to 80 per cent got an offer letter in their hands. I look forward to doing post-graduation from the same institution.

I have done my B.tech in Electronics and communication engineering because in this branch we can go in either field hardware or software so that's why I have chosen this branch and the placements of ece in Chandigarh engineering college is fabulous mostly IT(Information Technology) companies come for placements. The faculty of the college are brilliant. They have the best knowledge of their subjects. The faculties are well qualified some of them are from iit's and the teaching method of some teachers are brilliant and some have moderate teaching method. Every year in the month of April (even semester exams 2,4,6,8) and in the month of November(odd semester exams 1,3,5,7) taken by the college under Punjab Technical University. The exam paper is easy and sometimes tough as well.

In 2016 I'm in fever for four months and I have not taking any entrance exam, after fever then I'm searching college for direct admission any engineering but most of the college based on admission are entrance based and demanding more amount of donation. and I'm not able to pay for donation then I'm searching which for direct admission and not for demanding for donation this is reason why I'm going this college.
