Remarks

When I cleared my 12th class I was so confused about where can I take an admission After that one of my friends suggested this college he told me that the placements provided at this college are very good So after that, I decided to visit this college when I visited this college I found a very good surrounding and all the things told by my friend was right so after that, I choose to attend this college. The admission process is through a merit list or counselling or you can visit directly to the college to get admission. If the person wants to make a good career or a person wants good placements after completing a degree then I will suggest this college definitely to others.

Course Curriculum Overview

4

The course curriculum & faculty members were good I can rate them 3.5 out of 5. The faculty members were very knowledgeable in their field and the teaching quality provided by them was very good. The course curriculum is very relevant to make the student's industry ready, but Apart from this, there is one department in our college named training and placement program also known as the TPP department. The main focus of the TPP department is to make a student ready for getting a good placement.

Placement Experience

4.5

The placement provided by our colleges is great In North India no college will provide placements like CGC Landran. This year almost 600+ companies visited our college for the placements and 80% of the students have been placed in good companies. The top companies such as Google, Amazon, Microsoft, Flipkart, Wipro, Cognizant, and more companies visit every year in our college. The highest package provided was 30 LPA and the lowest package was 2.5 LPA. The average package provided by the companies was 4 LPA. There are so many profiles offered by the companies it is as per a student's choice in which profile they want to go. The profiles are provided by companies such as software developers, business analysts, quality analysts, sales executives, and so many profiles.

Fees and Financial Aid

The fee structure of the college is very affordable to middle-class families. Also, the college provides scholarship to SC & ST students. Apart from this if a student is interested in getting an on-campus placement then a college provides good assistance to students to get a good placement.

Campus Life

4

The life at the campus was awesome. Every year the college held a fest named Parivartan the fest goes for 2 to 3 days and the college invites the biggest celebrity in the fest for the entertainment of students. Apart from this fest, every month different events happened in our college such as technical events, non-technical events, gaming and, sports events. The infrastructure of the college is very good. All the departments such as CSE, ECE, ME, and IT are divided into different blocks. All the blocks have their own libraries and different types of books are available in libraries such as novels, comics, and study books. It is as per the student's choice which type of books he wants to read the student will get all types of books in the library.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I’d rate the curriculum like 7/10 in terms of relevance and comprehensiveness — it covers all the major CSE subjects like DSA, OS, DBMS, CN, AI, ML, Cloud, Cybersecurity basics, etc., and honestly that was one of the reasons I chose this course because at least the core subjects are solid even if PTU keeps some old-school stuff in the syllabus. The curriculum does prepare you for real-world stuff, but only to a point — like, if you focus on coding labs and projects you’ll be fine for internships, but if you depend only on classroom theory then it won’t help much because industry wants hands-on skills. For higher studies also it’s okay because theory depth in subjects like OS and DBMS is decent enough. But yeah, improvements are definitely needed — some subjects feel outdated, teachers should use more practical examples, and we need more real projects instead of copy-paste lab manuals; also some faculty teach directly from slides which gets boring fast. Exams come twice per semester (sessionals) plus the final end-sem around December/May; they’re mostly easy if you write long answers, but tricky if you rely only on understanding because PTU likes theory-heavy questions. Overall, the system works, but it could be way more practical and industry-focused.

Placement Experience:

Placements are not that good. Although companies come, there is a lack of mass recruiters or reputed organizations. One has to grind hard here for placements. If you're a CS student, you will have to face immense competition here. As for core branches, placements are severely dry. Students gets eligible in 4th year onwards for placements. Some of recruiters here are Trident, TCS, Reliance, Sonalika and other few. Every company offers around 10-15 selected students for a job. Highest package ever was 15LPA and average is 3.2LPA. Percentage placed is only around 15% here. My plans after the degree are to apply for govt exams.
