SRM University Chennai Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

The curriculum here is diversified and focuses on students' overall development. Exam structure same as other medical colleges 5 to 6 internals, Practicals, and university exams. The faculty is highly Educated, Experienced, and cooperative. The exam difficulty level is moderate.

I chose the course because of my interest in this line and have a good scope in the past years the student's ratio is about 7:3 about 9 girls and 21 boys in my class. The faculty qualified from the best Ph.D. holders. The examination is not so difficult it is easy to crack.

Placement is more like 60% not everyone is placed, some gets offer on off campus though company like SAP Labs also comes for the placement you have to qualify to code round, during my grad year CISCO also came for placement and hired 10 people.

Students were allowed to participate in placement drive from seventh semester onward. There were many companies like TCS, Paytm, Amazon, Infosys and many more companies in both the mechanical core and IT sector. Average package given by these companies hover around 5-6 lacs per annum while there were some companies like paypal with 42 lacs per annum. Around 50% of the students got selected in mass recruiting companies while some of the other got placed in good companies. The students with running arrears were not allowed to participate in placements so with them many didn't join the placements because they wanted to do higher studies. I myself is persuing masters in industrial engineering.

By opting this course one can enter in both electrical and computer field it is one of the main advantage There is a large team handling the students all the faculty members are very good and update everything on time

Companies generally visit during 7th semester, there were around 200 companies which visited the campus to name a few, Amazon, PAYPAL, OPTUM, CERNER, NAVIS, DELOITTE, NIELSEN, Amadeus Labs, Standard Chartered, Publicis Sapient, TCS, INFOSYS, CTS, WIPRO, CAPGEMINI. Highest CTC was 36 lacs offered by Work India. And Average Ctc Would be 4.5 lacs. Everyone enrolled for placement got placed. My plan is to continue the job.

While studying here, it becomes a placement for the students. Especially in the 4th year, it becomes a place of death. The mark percentage of the students here is very good. I want to do a job after doing this degree.

From 6th semister we are eligible for placements. Companies life google, oracle, Tcs, Microsoft, etc will visit our campus. Highest package will be 50lakhs/annum or above and the average package is 7-8lakhs/annum. 98 percent will get placements.

From 5 sem they are eligible for semester HCL ,zoho ,accenture , tcs huge vac 10 LPA is the highest one profiles offered based on our results 7. And above in all semesters Getting hired by a top company from campus

In our college, there are very good placement and very good companies visiting our college in our college the placement. held with the help of the placement office. The companies are Infosys, Wipro, Capgemini and etc.
