Likes
- They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
- *there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
- There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.
Dislikes
- The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
- The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
- On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

The college placement is good for our college but these are due to the strike of the paidemic corona the job ratio is less but sufficient jobs are given to the candidates my plan after getting DVD is to get a job from the on campus placement

- Good Faculities, Good Academic culture, Good Faculty, Good Campus, Good Labs, Good Culture.
Placement Experience:
there is 60-70% placement. This year CSE & ECE students got 60% placement and EIE & EE got 90% placement, Mechanical, Production, Chemical got 70-80% placement and civil got 50% placement. The placement status is average.

- Campus area as well as the environment of my college were very good . Also a lot of space was there for different sports activities
- There were TEQIP fund available for the conference and other different research activities
- Also the campus were completely safe and near the campus there wer army canteen where we could purchase different things with minimum charges
Dislikes
- Food were not good on that place tehat was the biggest problem
- Transportation facility was not up to the mark that was one of the major problem
- College was very far from the city so it used to take minimum one hr to reach the city
Course Curriculum Overview:
As my area of specialisation was Power system so in point of view the syllabus was well defined . My complete course was of 2years where for the first year we have course work and in second year we have to do research in respective field. So overall it was good

- Disciplined college, classes take place in a regular manner
- Very helpful teacher and well behaved staffs
Dislikes
- In time of the girls hostel is too early
- The hostel warden of the girls hostel is extremely rude and I'll mannered
- Each and every classed are not well equipped, fans are not there in some of the classes held in kv
Placement Experience:
Students become eligible for campus placement at end of their 3rd yr. Google, Amazon, Zomato, and Microsoft made near about 15-16 offers and mass recruitment companies also came with huge offers of 80-85%. I hope to get a good placement

From 7th semester onwards placement begins and students becomes eligible.
Big Companies like Google and Microsoft visited in recent years.
Highest package this year is 52 lpa with the avg package of 10lpa

- I really liked the peer group, very diverse and into different kinds of things like some are into coding, some wants to become an IAS officer , few into sports etc.
- The faculty are well equipped with knowledge and experience. Most of them are PhD degree holders.
- The Infrastructure of NIT Agartala is top notch. It is comparable to that of top NITs and IITs
Dislikes
- Connectivity is slightly an issue here. Though there are trains connected to various parts but it gets late by almost 12 hours sometimes it is quite frustrating.
- Few of the labs could be properly equipped.
- Sometimes the deadline is given very short for submitting assignment.
Placement Experience:
The placement season starts when a student enter 4th year , i.e. from the starting of the 7th semester companies starting visiting campus conducting placement drives.
Few of the companies include Deloitte, AWS, Amazon, Capgemini, Bajaj Motors, Tata motors, Google, Microsoft, Siemens, Texas instruments,
The highest placement percentage are achieved in the Computer Science, Electronics and Communication, and the Electrical Engineering department i.e upto 94%.
The core branches like civil , mechanical, chemical have a placement percentage of upto85%
Lower branches like production and biotechnology have only 80% placement.
The highest package was offered by AWS and Amazon of 52 LPA to three students, one from CSE , two being from EE and ECE.
Our seniors have also secured very good ranks in competitive exams like CAT and GATE , entered into IITs , IIMs and PSUs.
Few cracked the prestigious UPSC and went on to become the IAS, IPS IRS officera.
Few went to foreign universities for master

- The college had a good environment, proper facilities, no ragging culture, seniors and professors were very supportive.
Dislikes
- The placement of the department could be better.
Placement Experience:
Placememt is good, about 70% students got placed who opted for placement with the highest package being 18 lpa and minimum being 10,000 per month. The average package can be considered to be 6 lpa. I got placed in L&T, other companies like TATA, KEC, ORC, Phone Pay, etc came with 50% being of the CORE type and rest being of Data analyst & SDE type.

- The infrastructure of the campus us really good. The Hostels are in good shape. Rooms are enough spacious. The department buildings are also good. Almost every department has individual departmental buildings.
- Scenic beauty is very good. One can look at clear blue sky. Situated at the outskirts of the city, it is free from all sorts of pollution. There's greenery everywhere.
- Professors are helpful, especially if you manage to get into their good book.
Dislikes
- Hostel mess food quality needs to be improved.
Placement Experience:
From 7th semester, placements start. However from 3rd year onwards their are various paid internship opportunities like Reliance and some other industries which also offer pre-placement offer. A lot of companies visit (talking from mechanical engineering branch perspective). Some of the notable include Vedanta, Tata power, Tata chemicals, JSP, RIL, L&T, Suzuki etc. Very high percentage of students get placed.

- Teaching is good.Professors are helpful more or less
- There are a lot of scholarship opportunities and student loan system which help student to give their fees
- The placement is all over good.However due to layoff and down market the placement this year was less.
Dislikes
- The placements policies ar very struct which doesn't allow student to explore more.
- The sessions are of 9 months so the pressure on the students is very high for some particular branches.
Placement Experience:
Students can get placement here from the campus and after the 3rd year students are eligible for placement session.Mostly 60-70% student get placement every year.After getting the degree I will join the company where I got placed.

- The sports complex is the largest sports complex in northeast
- Club activities are more then other colleges and depertment also allow
- The campus is very big as compared to other colleges in tripura
Dislikes
- The administration work is very bad they delay every work
- For placements placement coordinator doesn't bother they personally don't contact with the company they say branch tnps to contact and they don't give training to them
- In placements only to show 100%placements the placement cell doesn't allow students to give declaration to the company if they get better company and destroy others chances
Placement Experience:
Placement is very good every year there is 80%placement and those students don't get placements depertment help them to get entry in IITs for there further studies without giving any exams. And it's has also signed MOU with different IITS like IIT Madras, IIT Delhi etc

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala
- Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
- Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
- Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
- Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
- The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
- The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
- The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.
Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
