Likes
- They are very good, the helps every times, all department faculty members are well educated, their behavior is very good.
- *there is an increase in tution fee every year but very small amount , and nothing to worry about it *120000 *ffe - 50000 nsp-20000-100000 and many other scholarship are availabel but these are very better
- There are like 140 companies visited our college for placement and top companies like google, amazon, fan companies will be visited here.
Dislikes
- The mess is worst in the collage... and one of the hostel is very bad and not dirsty
- The placement rate is very less now . so this is one of the reason i don't like about this college
- On campus senerio is not that much good & companies are visiting less for the intership.

Placement Experience:
The market is down these days so placement is not very good but yeah i would say its average not that bad.
In 7th semester students are eligible for campus placements and company starts visit to campus.
Sicne the placement season just started so the process is going on but yeah deollite, oracle, sigmoid, globallogic and many more came and offer jobs.
The highest package on campus is nearly about 23lpa which is offered by British Petroleum and average package may vary from 10lpa to 14 lpa.
Almost 96% student got placed every year rest are seeking for higher studies and appear in Gate exams.
I will take job and start my corporate journey.

- The campus gives a lot of freedom and good hostel life.
- Teachers are helpful and the learning environment is supportive.
- Friends and campus activities make student life enjoyable.
Dislikes
- Most of the learning was theoretical, I would have liked more industry level practical exposure.
- Some subjects were not updated with the latest industry trends, so I had to learn extra on my own
- Limited job opprtunity was available like most of the software company only allows cse , ece people
Placement Experience:
At NIT Agartala, students become eligible for campus placements from the 7th semester. Companies like JSW, TCE, Tata Power, Reliance, TCS, Infosys, and L&T visit, with average 6-8 lakh. About 70–80 percent of students get placed. After my degree, I plan to work in a software role.

- Faculty's way of teaching and very labs are clean and students are very brave
- They will support in every social activities including the game and study purpose
- The placement service of too good and course development is very effective
Dislikes
- Management of hostel is not good and food also too bad sometimes
- They are not provided the good internet connection
- Not have the proper parking area for cycles and bicycle
Placement Experience:
AT the NITA, placemenst are starts from the 7th semesters, companies like TCS, Wipro and infosys visit and average package is moderate around like 7.5 to 9lpa and Highest is 43 lpa. Around 97% students are placed and if not i plan for business

- Very good campus and infrastructure to explore
- Always finds Auto in the campus for town visit whether it is 11PM or 4AM.
- Boys and girls ratio is also very good but it depends upon the branches as well
Dislikes
- Got very less help from Placement cell as they are unable to convince the company for lower branches .
- Hostel in timings for girls is around 8PM and Boys are 11PM after that they are not allowed to the hostel without having a conversation with warden and Parents .
Placement Experience:
From 7th sem ,we are eligible for campus placements
Around 200+ companies visited for 2025 batch and around 1100+ (ongoing) offers have been received
Highest Package is around 50LPA from Amazon for SDE role and Average is around 9LPA.
Around 80% of students getting placed every year.
My plans are to gains some work experience and then pursue MBA

- everything is good ,but need development in medical support
- everything is good supportive teachers and administration
- the teachers mentor us and guide us , regular session on it specially in civil engg branch

- nothing for me everything is going well
- remote area may face some diffucties with food but mostly the food is good
- i personally belive in north east it is the i=one of the best college no problems for me
Placement Experience:
since last 3 yrs post covid the placments graph rising rapidly with a decent packages the college avg package for cse is 11lpa and highest is 52 lpa and for all branches it is 8.2 lpa and highest is 52.. and the placement percentage is 87 nearly

- Nit Agartala have a huge and beautiful campus spread on around 350 acres of land.The infrastructure is modern and beautiful.
- The faculty is experienced and supportive.Good Faculty-to-Student Ratio and many faculty members hold PhDs from prestigious institutions like IITs and foreign universities.
- NIT Agartala generally has good placements, with a high percentage of students getting placed in reputable companies.Many well-known companies recruit from NIT Agartala, including Oracle, Google, and Infosys.
Dislikes
- The food quality in the first year was not great at all. I would rate it only 5/10.But you see a huge upgrade in food quality from the 2nd year.
- Events and fests conducted here are very less as compared to other government institutions.I hope it gets better in the upcoming years.
- Poor internet connectivity.You are only provided 2GB of daily data and it is limited.Also, you will face internet related issues in the whole campus except few locations.
Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum emphasizes both theoretical knowledge and practical application, with laboratory work, projects, and internships playing a significant role.These offered courses helps to broaden the student's perspective. The curriculum is credit-based, with each course assigned a certain number of credits.
Generally, the mathematics exam is hard and this is the subject where a lot of students fail to get minimum passing marks. The exam is conducted at two timings - One in the morning and the other in afternoon.

- The lushful green and big campus, you almost feel lost in the beauty of it.
- Academics is not very hard here in my college, scoring 8+ pointer is comparatively easy.
- Professors are helpful , they guide you through and through , placements are decent enough.
Dislikes
- The girls to boys Ratio is a bit lacking, it's around 6:1 ratio.
- The buildings are not well developed, they Lack air conditioning.
- Although placements are good but in some branches like Civil and production they are a bit lacking.

Students become eligible for placements after coming in 7th semester which is the start of 4th year. Multiple companies from both tech and core field visit the campus. Ex: Samsung, Microsoft, phonepe, LNT, Bhel, TCS , Infosys, Tata motors, Reliance, Google , linkedin etc.
The highest package in the campus is 65-LPA offered by linkedin.
Average package is around 8-LPA and the median package is 6.5-LPA.

- Internet connectivity is limited in hostels and classrooms, which makes it difficult to access online resources for assignments and research.

google , amazon , deloitte, college duniya and oracle , wipro o9 solution and many more companies visited to our campus . and total offer made was appox 700 .
highest package was of 52 lpa and avg 6 lpa . total 95 percent of students got placement .

- College Campus is green and had a very nice environment.
- The Buildings were clean and were interconnected.
- Wi-fi connectivity throughout the campus and easy connectivity to various places from campus
Dislikes
- The campus is too big so tough to travel at night without bus or a reserved vehicle service
- The rooms were too big and less cooling happened in it.
- The Lifts needed repairing too often and we needed to go till 6 floors by staircases.
Placement Experience:
NIT Agartala provides intership facilities from 3rd year onwards while the full fleged Placements commence from July onwards, which runs upto May the next year. The final year students are only eligible for placements.
The Companies that visit includes Amazon,Google,Microsoft,Cisco,Nvidia,Airtel,Reliance,L&T,Wipro,Infosys,etc.
The highest package was about 50Lacs from CRED while the average package stands at around 9lacs.
Around 89% students who applied for placements got placed.

- College campus is good and great lusty green with proper availability of Roads and departments buildings are good enough
- hostels are great and feels like hotel especially RNT hostel with all proper availabilities like lifts,furnished room, bathroom , cleanliness is done properly, balcony, and view is jusrt great.
- conncetivity is good in the campus itself there are different cafeterias and shops , airport is just 14 Kms away and nearest station is 4 kms city is 12 kms from the campus and auto is available at the campus and campus gate itself.
Dislikes
- More new Shops and cafes should be opened as options are limited specially for students other than bengalis and tribal communities as food options are limited.
- Professors behaviour can be better towards students but this is a universal problems of all colleges.
- internet can be better as there are only 2gb is available
Course Curriculum Overview:
course curriculum is great as it is a core subject with applied technical perspective as this course contain DSA in its 4th sem and Every sub that one needs to learn to either go for technical field or in core field so iopted for this course.
this course helped me in developing my technical skills, analytical skills, reasoning and thinking methodology.
curriculum needs to be more focused on applied part as this course was desined to be a applied course.
exams are as like mid term and end term in each sem within two months of gap.
difficulty level is med- tough

Based on the experience of a friend here are some points regarding NIT Agartala
- Honestly, NIT Agartala is not at par with the standard of the Institute of National Importance. The administration and faculties do not give students access to the facilities.
- Most of the faculties have no teaching abilities , and there is a huge communication gap between students and professors.
- Students are not allowed to do projects from the second year and it's also very hard to get a good CGPA.
- Only the CSE and ECE departments have modern infrastructure and the rest of the departments are not taken care of. There is also bias in how students of different branches are treated.
- The hostel facilities of the institute are excellent and the buildings are beautifully designed. However, students are restricted from bringing basic electrical equipment to boil milk, water, and heat Maggie.
- The tender of the mess food always goes to the same company and students constantly lodge complaints regarding the quality of the food.
- The institute has a 75% attendance policy that many find illogical and rigid.
Overall, NIT Agartala will give you a lot of good memories and friends but is still lacking on the academic front.
