The room has many facilities like there is a bed for one person. Table for reading. Room is very clean in hostels. Hostlers get meal time to time. Lunch is also provided in the morning. Meal quality is high. There is no issue regarding food quality. The menu is bread pakoda, rice, sandwich, and paratha. We can fill a form to pay the hostel fee. I think it is high for poor students because the per month fee is 1220/.
The hostels provide many facilities like 24 hours water and electricity supply and maintenance of the room. The hostel provides their own made food which is cover in the hostel fee. The meal quality is good they provide three times food in a day lunch breakfast and dinner. For breakfast, they provide two types of fruits and one glass of milk. In lunch, they provide dal and chapatis and one sweet also. In dinner, they provide two types of sabji and raita and chapati. The kitchen and the dining room are well maintained and they provide hygiene very nicely. The dining room is well made so that about 200 students take food at a time. Hostas contain two types of room firstly 1 bedroom and 2 bedrooms and one room that contains about 10 students in one room. the availability of the rooms in the hall is very nice and the university contains a lot of halls so so students can't worry to afford a room outside the campus. If you want to take a room outside the campus so locality is very nice good.
In AMU there are 19 halls of residence for students with 80 hostels including boys and girls. Almost all admitted students get allotted hostel because the hostel is provided by AMU at a very low price. And dining charge of Aligarh Muslim University hostel is around 1200. Along with low fees structure AMU provided many facilities like Common Room, Reading Room, Dining hall, generator, 24 hours of electricity, geyser water cooler etc.
Yes. AMU provides the best hostles. In my first year 5 people were sharing room in second year the same but in third year we were only 2. There are problems with the timing issue and accommodation also. Outing issue is there. Dinning is good.
I opted for hostel during the graduation. The hostels are really cheap. You can easily get your monthly expenses covered within 2500 rupees including the food. The hostels are one of the beautiful sites in the university. ?n case you don't find hostels vacant there are many private PGs available too within the same amount.
Engineering students are allotted one of the two halls of the university: Sir Shah Sulaiman Hall or Nadeem Tarin Hall. For those students allotted Sir Shah Sulaiman, getting a separate room for undergraduates is impossible. Students in their first year are allotted a hall shared with about 6-10 Students. In second year, students move to a 4 person room. Every Hall has a reading room and a common room. There is a separate cricket ground and football field for hall. Most rooms are very old. Some of these rooms need maintenance.
There are many halls in our campus, mine is Abdullah Hall, and in this hall there are 5 Hostels all for graduating students with 2 wardens each monitoring every candidate. there are plenty of rooms, some hostels are 2 seater while some are 3 and even 4 seaters. Sometimes it gets difficult for students to enrol themselves in these hostels because of too many of them, in that case many of them shift over to P.Gs for there comfort which doesn?t cost much money and easily available which is near to our college.
There are many hostels of our college. The hostes has a big mess and more than 50 room occupying 4 to 5 students. The bathroom and dining hall are good so there is VerY average hostel accommodation.
The hostel facilities divided into halls,There are 21 halls in AMUOne hall consist of 5-6 building approx with more than 50 roomsOne room is shared by three studentsHostel is not alloted in first year generally but after one year you'll have it.In hostel there are seperate bathroom, seperate toilets with gyser and RO water. The hostel charge is included in fee and the whole fee is ?10,000
The hostel room has separate almirah with 3-4 beds and a study table for each students, The meals provided are quite affordable and safe! The kitchen is neat and clean and the mess too! The dishes are regularly cleaned by the staffs, Registration process is just easy for hostel but the accomodation may take upto 1 year to get! I had to wait 1 year to get accommodation.
