AMU Ph.D Geology: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. Candidates who have qualified for JRF (Junior Research Fellowship) in UGC-NET or CSIR-NET are exempt from the AMU departmental entrance test. They are directly shortlisted for the Presentation-cum-Interview round. However, candidates who have only qualified the lectureship (LS) category of NET without JRF are NOT exempt and must appear for the departmental entrance test.
