JIIT Noida Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

I gave my AIEEE in 2012 and secured 39k rank in it and was called for the counselling. At that time, I had an option to choose between an engineering college from IP University, Delhi or go for Jaypee. With much consideration, I shortlisted Jaypee for its better reputation than IP Colleges at the time. It's a decent college for someone within my rank range.

AIEEE, My AIR was around 65,000. I opted for B. Tech. in Electronics and Communication Engineering. ECE and CSE are two main B. Tech. branches offered at JIIT, Noida. I had more interest in ECE compared to CSE (was not basically interested in writing codes) that made me choose ECE over CSE.

The college experience had both sweet and sad memories. More like a sinusoidal wave. Well even a straight on ER machine declares the person dead. The little sad bit about my college was that we were supposed to wear uniform for 4 years. Yea, as sad it may sound it even sadder in reality, We shall a two minute silence for our sacrifice towards attainment of a degree which in no way tells how much of good engineer we are.

I was given the most reputed exam JEE main and JEE advance also called IIT JEE but rank is not so good to take admission in prestigious college like IIT or not but I really appreciate I got JIIT not IIT but it's better then NIT .

The college should focus more on application based problems rather than the old numerical problems. More of extra curricular activities should be entertained by the management. More of practical work and application work should be there rather than the old boring thoery.

College management is good but as a college their are many things to be improve like investment on exposure ect.

The college is appreciable you have opportunity to get good placement also the teaching staff is quite well you gets assignment and projects regularly and they are of good quality all you have to do is study hard and you will definitely get placed in college.

I took JEE mains exam and got a rank of around 70000 to get computer science stream in my college . This college is close to my home and I have heard the college provides good placement for the computer science branch.

I took the GATE 2014 exam. I just about cleared my paper and secured a good enough score to enlist into JIIT. My normalised score was 32.

I gave the JEE mains-175 from Gorakhpur , Uttar pradesh. I chose this college as the last option because we made a mistake in the JEE main seat allotment and we didn't get branch of our preference in the uptu.
