University of Lucknow Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

Facilities are available Good like clubs gym restaurants cafeteria wifi, library. Big lecture hall and projector. Here all type facilities are Good and best. Mess food is delicious, the gym is modern. Big program hall medical facilities are available. The college has a big lush green campus and big ground.

I chose b.com because of my commerce background. The teaching faculty was not to be proud of. They arrived at class 15-20 mins late. Classes were quite irregular and disorganized. Exams were quite easy and can easily be passed by studying past year papers. The student-faculty ratio was somewhere around 1:100. The teaching methods used by the professors were quite outdated. The teachers hardly have any interest whatsoever. Exams were timely and conducted on time.

My plans after getting a degree is to go for the higher education for my masters degree in computer where I can learn lots more about programming and computers which will help me to get a job in multinational IT companies on good package.

I Chose this course because I want to become a professor in the teaching line and that is why I completed mine under graduation from LU. Faculty: student ratio was 40:1. All faculty members were Ph.D. Holder and some of them were serving for many years in this college The teaching method was based on an old teaching system that is more theoretical than practical but. Exams were happened always timely according to the LU guidelines and officials rules and regulations It was quite difficult to pass exams and if you are not regular in class then it will be more difficult to clear exams and practicals because professors take a healthy kind of viva.

Placement is about 6 lpa, Mostly students go for Mba after doing bba. Students come to this colledge to get knowledge and experience and after that, they try to get into a good mba school and take placements from there.

Admission to B.A (Hons) program demands a minimum of 60 % marks in the 10+2 stage. Admission is granted on the basis of UGET. The course has 3 years duration.

My plan after getting a degree is to work in any private IT sector for a new experience of jobs and skills. After 5 years I want to set up my own business to do something in the business line so that I can contribute to our nation.

In mid of 5th semester companies starts hiring students for placement. Companies like HCL, Wipro, Google etc visited in our college in search or fresh employees. 40% of students get placement by our college I will pursue a masters degree after it.

This college does not provide any placement for any course such as ba, BSc, BCom except for the students of MBA. However, the college does help students in finding the internship in their last year of college through The placement for MBA is approx 99 to 100%. My plans after getting qualified with this degree is pretty much clear i want to appear for the UPSC exam as my interest is into civils.
