University of Lucknow Reviews on Placements, Faculty and Facilities

In UG students becomes eligible for placement in 6th semester and in PG students become eligible for placement in 3rd semester. 80% of students get placement. The average package of the placement is 120000 annually.

My course was BCA which is for three years. All the faculties were good in their respective domain. so If you will get stuck somewhere you can take help from the respective faculties. in my class, there were almost 60 students. All the faculties had done Ph.D. in their respective domain. The teaching method was like delivering the lectures and giving the notes on WhatsApp or emails each year there are 2 semesters and in each semester 2 exams are conducted.

I choose this college because this college is a government college (Lucknow University). Overall faculties are good, supportive, and well-mannered. PhDs, Masters, etc have been done by faculties. In Sherwood College(LU affiliated) semester-wise classes happen. The syllabus is also normal, good, and precise.

I have chosen this course because I have an interest in commerce and want to know the wider side of it. There are I sections of BCom each year 4 of regular and 4 of self-finance and each section has at least 100 students in it. There are professors, assistant professors, scholars, research students, interns, deans, Asst deans. All the members of the faculty are well qualified 90% of them are Ph.D. holders whose books are published and sold in big numbers. There are exams on a semester basis even odd. Even semesters have objective exams and odd semesters have descriptive exams. Difficulties of exams depend upon the studies of the students.

Students become eligible for campus placements from the 5th semester. The companies visited are zomato, TCS, etc. There were not many offers made. The highest package was 10 lakhs and the lowest was 3 lakhs. 60% of students were placed. I would opt for post-graduation in MBA from top colleges such as IIM and for this, I am preparing to apply for CAT

The final-year students become eligible for the campus recruitment drive Many companies Like HDFC Bank, and Kotak Mahindra Bank do hire from the campus The required percentage is above 60% in their respective courses

60-70% of the students get placed. I will go for higher studies. Many companies visit here for placements such as Wipro, Mankind, Leeford, etc. The average package is 5-6 lakh. Since it has got a NAAC A++ rating, more companies are going to visit here.

The teachers are really good and teach well, daily classes, if you study properly then you pass the exam with good marks, it's a semester-based system Every year 2 exams are conducted even if the semester is Theory and the odd sem is MCQ.

Our university is good at placement offerings. Manu seniors have taken placement and by seeing them we get motivated. The charge of our placement that is Sir Himanshu Pandey helps a lot in placement, he is the one who makes a Life of students for the future.

At the end of the 6th-semester students are eligible for the placements, I don't have proper data but I can say the average no of companies visiting the college to take the placements. Pursuing my dream as a writer & rapper.
