University of Calcutta M.Tech Chemical Engineering: Fees 2026, Course Duration, Dates, Eligibility

Ans. The total fee is INR 36,300 for the two year M.Tech in Chemical Engineering, payable annually as INR 18,150 per year for 2026-27. GATE qualified scholars admitted under the regular stream receive an AICTE stipend of INR 12,400 per month.

Ans. Candidates must hold a B.Tech or B.E in Chemical Engineering or a closely allied discipline from a recognised university, with a minimum of 55 percent aggregate (50 percent for SC, ST, and OBC). A valid GATE score in Chemical Engineering (CH paper) is required for the regular full time seat.
