- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

Placement Experience:
From the very 6th semester the students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visiting the college including TCS, Welspun, Cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, Intellipaat, Mitsogo, Schneider, QBurst etc.. The companies provide a good package for the students. Most of the students are getting placements.

Placement Experience:
The placement activities are usually initiated from fifth semester of the course. We are also given special training for attending different interviews. The package level was from 300000 to 1100000.College always aims for 100% placements.

- The college has a great crowd, lots of good people and has a lot of extra curricular activities
- The faculty are very helpful and strive to make children learn rather than remember things
- Placements are good for CS but for other subjects core jobs are less
Dislikes
- Too much politics sometimes disrupts classes and we miss a few modules from syllabus
- Small campus, no playgrounds other than a basketball ground
- There is no official hostel for the college ,you have to opt outside
Placement Experience:
Placements are alright, not many companies are there for core subjects but for CS there are a lot of companies. Highest package is of 13lpa and AVG is 3.5. i plan to go to Germany to study for my masters after completing my course.

- Natural Beauty: The college is located in a region famous for its natural beauty, including forests, mountains, and rivers. Providing a good atmosphere for studying.
- Faculties:They are vey supportive and encouraging.
- College activities:Arts and Tech fest days are the best days.
Dislikes
- Placements: Comparatively placement opportunities are less. Why because the college is on the top of a hill.
- Hostel:There is two hostels for girls. Bt there is no any good boys hostel.
- Wifi range : Wifi range is poor at some locations of the college.

The placements are average. There is orientation classes on Placement drives. You need to pass the course without any backlogs. Then only u can attend the placement drives. However, there is some companies that are giving placements for students having 1-2 backlogs. The average package is from 3- 4.75 lpa. This year only 10 students out of 62 are placed from CS department.

- Good teachers and good class room and teachers will help you more than any colleges
- And the best thing you will get is the hostel facility with good food
- You will get bus support to all nearby cities from college
Dislikes
- There is no celebrations or any programs in this college
- Water scarcity is severe in this college and no projecters in classes (even in computer science engineering classes)
- There is no support from management at all and we need to pay for even sports,arts,freshers and there is no college day or ethnic day or any other celebrations
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am first year and i think the curriculum is so bad because we need to study basics of electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil why do we need to study this subjects if we don't need it for future ? I am a cyber security student and this subjects will not help me in any aspects . So i think rather than studying subjects like chemistry ,physics ,basics ,graphics the curriculum should focus on programming

- Faculties are the best since it is one of the Government Engineering College of Kerala under the Kerala Technological University (KTU)
- Best club and organisation like culture and technical organisation in the college. Organisations like IEEE student branch are very active in the campus.
Dislikes
- College doesn't provide with boys hostel for the boys and the hostel is being under construction.
- The college doesn't have a good ground and the sports events are happening in other grounds near to the college.
- Office work delays and issues related to the geographic location of the college.

The Campus provide a placement for the students and the placement percentage of the college is 60%. All the main core companies for all the branches will visit the campus and will intake students based on their performance. The placements for CSE and IT branch are more in the college.

- The college atmosphere is very good. The campus is neat and tidy
- The library is good and we get almost every book related to our course.
- The student who take admission here are from all over kerala.
Dislikes
- The office staffs behavior is not tolerable.
Placement Experience:
From semester 7 you are eligible for campus placements. A lot of multinational companies come to this college and the top one is UST. You get a decent package from this company. Trenser comes here and also offer placements the package is decent.

- Good campus, ambience is good. Really feels amazing to go through the campus. Even at night time.
- Placements are good here. Btech students get 3LPA packages minimum. The department of architecture doesnt get much placements
- Cultural events, sports, co curricular, outside exposure events are conducted
Dislikes
- The staff in the office are not cooperative. They give a hard time to students
- The departments should be allowed to function further late at night.
Placement Experience:
After 7th semester.
Placeme training starts in the 6th semester.
More than 50 companies come to btech departments.
LnT, JSW, Atkins come to architecture.
50%of students get placed minimum
The highest package goes to 32 lakhs per year.

- Ecofriendly campus with good climate, can have a good studying atmosphere.
- Faculty is well graduated and there core knowledge is outstanding and they are friendly nature
Dislikes
- Union representatives are very rude and bad behaviour
- Small canteen as compared to other college and lack of amenities
- Campus have small ground and it does not allow the students to bring there sport activities.
Placement Experience:
Placement drive in our college will work efficiently for the students. They will train the students for aptitude tests and technical tests. A faculty will be in charge of the placement cell. He will coordinate all programs like classes, orientation program

- Campus was enormous and had very eco-friendly nature !
- The total care from the management was good ! And had a very good transportation and other facilities

- Very few activities and campus fest where conducted.
- As the campus is located on a remote location diversity is less
Course Curriculum Overview:
Well I couldn't find any real time applications on the certain subjects , as far as we doest not know how their application are in day to day life though we have a general knowledge it will be useful in the near future! It would be more useful if the student gets to know things in more practical , thus providing us with practical knowledge in real life! Exams are conducted with in a certain period of time which is overall and providing with a good amount of time to study and prepare . The course subjects are more expressive throughout every sem .

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems.
