Placement Experience:

From the very 6th semester the students are eligible for the placements. There are many companies visiting the college including TCS, Welspun, Cognizant, Sutherland, Infosys, Intellipaat, Mitsogo, Schneider, QBurst etc.. The companies provide a good package for the students. Most of the students are getting placements.

Placement Experience:

The placement activities are usually initiated from fifth semester of the course. We are also given special training for attending different interviews. The package level was from 300000 to 1100000.College always aims for 100% placements.

Placement Experience:

Placements are alright, not many companies are there for core subjects but for CS there are a lot of companies. Highest package is of 13lpa and AVG is 3.5. i plan to go to Germany to study for my masters after completing my course.

Placement Experience:

The placements are average. There is orientation classes on Placement drives. You need to pass the course without any backlogs. Then only u can attend the placement drives. However, there is some companies that are giving placements for students having 1-2 backlogs. The average package is from 3- 4.75 lpa. This year only 10 students out of 62 are placed from CS department.

Course Curriculum Overview:

I am first year and i think the curriculum is so bad because we need to study basics of electrical, electronics, mechanical, civil why do we need to study this subjects if we don't need it for future ? I am a cyber security student and this subjects will not help me in any aspects . So i think rather than studying subjects like chemistry ,physics ,basics ,graphics the curriculum should focus on programming

The Campus provide a placement for the students and the placement percentage of the college is 60%. All the main core companies for all the branches will visit the campus and will intake students based on their performance. The placements for CSE and IT branch are more in the college.

From semester 7 you are eligible for campus placements. A lot of multinational companies come to this college and the top one is UST. You get a decent package from this company. Trenser comes here and also offer placements the package is decent.

After 7th semester. Placeme training starts in the 6th semester. More than 50 companies come to btech departments. LnT, JSW, Atkins come to architecture. 50%of students get placed minimum The highest package goes to 32 lakhs per year.

Course Curriculum Overview:

Well I couldn't find any real time applications on the certain subjects , as far as we doest not know how their application are in day to day life though we have a general knowledge it will be useful in the near future! It would be more useful if the student gets to know things in more practical , thus providing us with practical knowledge in real life! Exams are conducted with in a certain period of time which is overall and providing with a good amount of time to study and prepare . The course subjects are more expressive throughout every sem .

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
