- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec

- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

I would give a 8.5/10 in terms of relevence and comprehensiveness of the curriculum.
It has influenced me to take this course as it brings lots of opportunity in thhe future generation.

- The campus infrastructures and facilities provided my the colllage.
- The facilities both teaching and non teaching who were very friendly and loving.
- The placement cell which ensures all students cet placed with appropriate packages.
Dislikes
- Acadmic schedule or calender which was too short and stressfull.s
- The class timing hours was too long and tiring.
- The attendance system was too overwhelming for the students to cope with.
Placement Experience:
The main feature of this collage is placement offers. Several companys approach the collage seeking students for their company. The placement offers start from 4th year ownwards.
Every year more than half of the total students get placed in the companys. The collage also provides placement trainings in order to prepare the students to tackle the aptitudes and interviews more effectively.

- The hostel seats was limited therefore many students have to stay in private hostel
Course Curriculum Overview:
Ktu provides a compact syllabus and it helps to focus on manufacturing process.In the increasing growing population Production engineering plays an important role in industries including aerospace, electronics and it gives more oppurtunities.

- Placements are very good in the college. Nearly all the students gets placed, considering they study well.
- The cultural and technical fests are really good and it make us relax after a stressful schedule.
- Campus life is very good and enjoyable. The seniors are very comfortable to deal with and are really supportive also.
Dislikes
- As a government college strikes are common here and hence the attendance is a serious issue.
- Also all the faculties do not cover all the portion before the exam.
Course Curriculum Overview:
I am an electronics and communication engineering student. So considering this course, I believe it has many benefits when it comes to dealing with the outside world. When we are in the first year, we will be having all the main subjects, that is all basics of the main subjects like civil,mechanical, electrical and electronics for studying. Only after the second year we will be moving to our core area. So we will be having a basic understanding of all the basics. I think that is a major benefit of choosing btech.

- Good student , faculty relationship and the junior senior relationship. They make us so comfortable for us to ask any type of doubts

- The management can be really irritating sometimes
- The bus facilities are a pain. Irregular on some days
- Poorly stuffed canteen. Need for more snacks and things in the canteen

Course Curriculum Overview:
I personally loved ece department since when i decided to choose engineering as it includes both software and hardware subjects. So even when the curriculum is difficult the ways i look to solve certain issues could be influenced from these subjects and the faculty's advices . There are practical examples and applications discussed of what we are studying. The teaching wud be better if they concentrated more on the way students could capture rather than completing syllabus

- Faculties are not much strict. They are friendly.
- Infrastructure is very cool. There is not much area, but the garden area etc. is so attractive
- Many shops, ATM, auto-taxis etc.are easily available.
Dislikes
- Programs, fests are very rare in this college. That's it.
- Free periods are very less. No free time for students.
- Washroom area is a bit pathetic. Need to improve it.
Placement Experience:
Campus placements are offered by the college. Skilled ones can crack it. So the thing is, you have to practise from the first year Or second year itself to get a good placament. More placement offers are for computer science students.

In our college 4 years are eligible for placement and our college conduct job fairs.it really good for the students in our campus.our seniors have get the placement by the job fair
So many companies visit our college during the job fair

- The campus is extremely beautiful and well maintained.college promote many clubs like ISTE,BAI etc.
- Surroundings are neat and clean.Class is very large with good ventilation set up.
- It has cooperative society which consist of essential items needed for a college students.
Dislikes
- Filter is not working.Hostel is too far from college.It is somewhat difficult to travel during lunchtime for hostel student's.
- Classes are so long and no interval are provided
- Some teachers wont provide notes and its difficult.
Placement Experience:
From s5 onwards students have many opportunities to become eligible for campus placement. Companies visited are L&T construction ,shoba,South Indian Bank and many more.My plan is to get placed in a good company with average good salary.

From 3rd sem they provide interview for placement and also 4th year. Many students are getting placed from our college. special classes are given to students regarding the placement by the placement cell.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
