- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Pretty much every thing except the classes were good
- The fests are awesome. Many celebrities come here
- The friends u make the life is good here
Dislikes
- Sometimes politics are played dirty. Gruesome fights police involvement
- The classes are pretty bad at last we study by ourselves
- Very rare god teachers are there. Faculty needs to be improved
Placement Experience:
If in cs or ec u gonna have decent placement opportunities although it's not 100 percent. Every branch sits in almost every company as branch specific companies are rare. But most of them are it companies. Comparatively, branches like civil mech industrial core companies are less.

- KTU University. The syllabus for BArch doesnt provide much exposure
Placement Experience:
From 3rd year placements are provided for BTech students. For BArch it's 4th Yr onwards. Some companies include Google, Microsoft, L & T etc. Average package 25lkh per annum.Highest is 45 lkh. Around 98% students gets placed. There are spacial placement cells within campus. I'm planning to pursue my masters after degree.

- The faculty, they are very supportive and helpful when it comes to both academics and non academic related things
- Clubs, there are many clubs in the college to cater to everyones interests.
- Campus Life, the campus life is very great in the college with a very great exposure. Students from allover the state come to study together.
Dislikes
- The academic schedule is very tight and stressful. From multiple exams being conducted on a same day to conducting exams on the next day of a public holiday
Placement Experience:
The on campus placements starts from the third year. One would have to register themselves with the college placement cell in order to sit for placements.. CET has one of the best placements in the state next to NIT Calicut. There are many companies visiting the campus both core and IT companies. Generally every year there would be 600+ offers made. The highest varies every year, the average is 7/8 lpa overall. Most students sitting for placements gets placed. Many pursue post graduation in MBA or M.Tech after college, some pursue their interests and passion.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum is little bit boring although in my opinion the university exam modes and time tables will be disappointing but the college life is super also you will get many seniors to connect with your doubt and also 100+ technical and non technical clubs for your skill development.

The curriculum is actually good. It helps to prepare you for the real world application. The way of teaching method is very nice. The exam timing is 3hours. There is nothing much to improve in this specific curriculum

Around 100-200 companies visit our college inclyding top companies like Texas Instruments, Schneider, Microchip.

Average- 5LPA
In EEE around 90% students were placed last year.

- 12 hour campus time is a really convenient thing. Students can make use of the library, indoor and outdoor gym facilities, sports areas etc. during this time.
- Cultural fest Dhwani, technical fest Drishti, arts fest Sargam are really awesome and the best in the state without a doubt.
- Club activities and opportunities are really vast.
Dislikes
- College canteen has less space. Although some new student convenience centre is in progress, the current facilities are limited.
- Buildings and other areas in the college are really old and needs renovation
- I hate the freedom couples are getting inside the campus ( some people find this a plus point though)
Placement Experience:
There are campus placement opportunities at CET for mechanical engineering but not enough. Also average packages are also pretty low. Companies like MRF, Daimler, Hyundai, L&T, Schneider, Royal Enfield, Balmer Laurie etc. are some of the mechanical core companies recruiting CETians on campus.

Course Curriculum Overview:
I'm studying the EEE course at RIT Kottayam, I also studied the EEE course in my diploma. So im interested in this course very much. The teaching is ok for the students because they only focus on completing the modules,they do not take consideration about the students understanding level. The semester is only 4 months so the duration between the exams is very less. the stress and pressure will be high.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
