- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- The college is really active. There are alot of fest and cultural programmes held every month.
- There are also different clubs and activities. Some students even got to visit abroad for free of cost.
- There are sports activities, movie groups, and mechanical labs are kinda huge and really cool.
Dislikes
- There is no space , like the college doesn't have a ground.
- Placement for biotechnology and automobile engineering students are really low.
- The iv is fun , you'll get all india trip , that's one main thing in your college life
Placement Experience:
For biotechnology the placements are very limited you have the option to choose masters abroad or do mba. Cs graduates often get good placements with good packages. Every year a total off 200-300 students gets placed

Course Curriculum Overview:
The course is really effective.
The circulum is very good and very use full for further.
You get to learn a lot of programming languages like c java html css javascript c++ and all where they are so much use full for future life

- Academic standards are really high. They teach you well and prepare us for semester exams. We have tutorial hours to solve problems and Y2P to encourage student interactions. Internals are conducted twice a semester and proper valuation is made.
- College infrastructure is really great. The buildings and Lab's provide a better environment to properly nurture our learning ability. Labs are fully air conditioned and have variety of instruments in there. College has lift support as it has 5 floor
- College Library is something of magnificent. It provides a vide variety if textbooks and magazines. They provide a better environment for learning and is close to nature as we have Bamboo trees inside the library.
Dislikes
- We don't usually gets tech fests or any aother kind of events. It is a rare occurance and we would like to get more of them.
- Travel facilities are really poor as our college is located far away from the Highway and Buses are rare especially during Sundays. This is of a great concern
- Library timings are not at all comfortable for students. Library closes at 6 pm and hostel students cannot access it after Six. This raised a discomfort among many students
Placement Experience:
Mostly students become eligible from 6th semester but there are rare cases where students got placed in their 5th semester. We get placement training from 5th semester itself.
The companies visited here includes: Unisys, Cisco, Goggle, SOTTI, Mitsogo, Skill Kendra AISET, Cuvette, Sutherland, Experion, Hut Labs, Zoho, Walmart, etc. Almost 264 companies came here for placement last year and large amount of offers were made.
Highest package is 8 lacks per annum and average is 4 lakhs per annum.
Almost 60-70% of Students are getting placed. I'm bot entirely sure about it. It's just a rough estimate.
I'm hoping to get placed and if I won't get into a good company I'll try for Masters after my graduation

- It has some programs now and then which is good to take our mind out of studies

- The campus is too small compared to other colleges on the same level and not enough materials available in some labs
Course Curriculum Overview:
The course curriculum was updated this year and some changes were made from the previous curriculum. We are just starting so we are not in our main course fully yet. They should stop teaching with only ppts

- The overall experience about Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam is very good.The pass percentage is on top 5 considering other collages in kerala.Due to the increased academic result students who are joining the collage are increasing year
- Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam offers a variety of course which includes BTech degrees,MCA, Architecture,MTech etc..Btech degree includes BTech in Mechanical, civil, electrical, electronics, computer science,robotics.and Mtech for all
- As said each branch have there own department, in every department they have there library so students can take the required books other than department libraries a main library is provided by the collage with a huge verity of book which helps studen
Placement Experience:
Rajiv Gandhi institute of technology Kottayam provide a good placement to the students..the quality and number of placement varies according to the department.in the collage the branch which have the best placement is computer science.most of the students are getting placed at different good companies with a average salary of 11LPA

- The people is good as in friends. A lot of variety of people here, first time im having such an experience.
- The football ground is nice. We get to play everyday after class
- The functions and a lot of sports in college now.
Dislikes
- The hostel mess food is horrible. Very difficult at times.
- Hostel is very strict. Need outpass just to go outside.
- Message goes to the parents once we get out of hostel.
Placement Experience:
from 7th sem we could sit for placements.
wipro,etc come for placements.
the hightest package is 58lakhs per annum to a it student.
perecent of studnets getting placements is very less for our college due to the lack of proper skill.
i wish to work for some while and then pursue for higher education.

Placement Experience:
I heard that the college is offering placements for the students after completing their studies. I dont know much details as im a first year student. The average package is 80000. Interland , innovature companies have visited

- The faculties of over institution is highly qualified and many of them has phds in various research fields.
- The discipline and well behavior of staffs and students are awesome.
- The campus is full of greenary and that makes me got a postive fresh mind when i came to the campus.
Dislikes
- The college bus services are very poor and many of them may even work properly.
- The public transportation facilities are not much accessible in that locality.
- The standard of the food provided at the canteen should be improved and the cost should be reduced.
Placement Experience:
From seventh semester onwards students are eligible for campus placements.The companies visited for the purpose of placements are L&T,soba constructions..Each companies are offering around 20 offers for each departments.The highest salary package is around 2LPA and average salary package is around 1.5LPA. Around 30% of students are getting placements in each batch.

I choose this institution because i like to study engineering.
This curriculum prepares the students to get a better understanding of the real world problems.
The college can improve the methody of teaching by more practical ways.
Exam hours are satisfactory.

- Campus is not bad and the infrastructure of the college is amazing
- Facilities of the campus is extremely superb
- The students studying here also have a high standard of living and there is less complaints about the students
Dislikes
- There are limitations in freedom,but it's ok
- Classes are ok but not that much satisfying
- Girls hostel is very strict as compared to boys hostel
Placement Experience:
From S7 onwards placement begins and they provides wide range of placement opportunities.They also provides placement training programmes for students to improve communication skills and to reduce fear of speaking and stage fear

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
