The students should be eligible to sit for KEAM exam and for that they should've qualified their higher secondary or equivalent from a recognized institute in science stream. The final selection shall be made on merit basis as scores obtained in the entrance exam.

Admission:

I got admission into this college through the joint entrance examination. The examination and counseling are all in online mode. You can even get admission through the management quota, but the fees they will be slightly on the higher side.

Caution deposit is not given to alumni students.college has good placement and good infrastructure and good teaching faculty.

Remarks:

Mine is the 3rd best State-owned engineering college in Kerala. Getting here is not at all easy. My college provides all of its children with ample knowledge and replete exposure to the current industrial sector. Students here are trained not only in their respective educational fields but in all other aspects shaping one's life too.

Remarks:

I chose my college for pursuing under graduate studies because our institution is a government institution and offers very cheap education on fee wise and better teaching facilities, qualified teachers, good placements.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
