This is a 4 year bachelor’s course and has 60 seats batch, 50% is government quota. The application form can be obtained from college office on payment of Rs.500 by preparing DD in favour of TOMS COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING. Admission:

I took admission in this college in Management quota, and based on my 12th score I was given admission in the course under management quota. I had applied to this college from online and after personal counseling I was given admission to this college. One should have 60% + in Physics, chemistry and maths and 60% and above in separately.

Admission:

Admission in this college is of various type. I got admission in this college with appearing in CEE test, and one should have 60% overall in PCM and 60% in maths separately. Admission is given on management and NRI quota. I had first applied online and then after exam visited for counseling for admission.

Remarks:

Actually i took admission here accidentally it was not as my plan. The Gov alloted me the college so i couldn't opt out from this. I got a chance to change the college but I got attached to the people and the atmosphere immediately.

Remarks:

The university was ranked 6th in APJ Abdul Kalam Technological University in 2017 and again ranked 2nd among private engineering colleges in 2017. The college is equipped with the best of infrastructure and amenities to support an overall education of the students.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
