Remarks:

The one and only negative of the colege is the principal. He is not a kind of person who understand the fashion of the youth. The teaching and non teaching staff are full support. There is no problem.

Teaching faculty is not meeting the expectation Generally it is an average college with minimal faculty and infrastructure, not so high in teaching or standard, teaching staff are not much experienced most of them are fresher and joined for there training

Remarks:

The college infrastructure is great. We have library, labs and all other needed features.The infrastructure and faculties are best comparing other college. But a negative remark is that the college doesnt have a good sports ground.

Remarks:

No more negative remarks. Its a good college and college had good infrastructure compared to other colleges. It makes more admission in the college. The admission officer made a clearly idea about the college.

Admission:

Admission process is purely under Kerala Engineering Entrance Rank. Mainly 3 category seats are available. State Merit (SM) Management Merit (MG) and NRI and also KSRTC quota are also there for Children's of Ksrtc employees. SM and MG are filled by centralised Allotment process by Kerala Entrance Commissioner and Application are invited for both Nri and Ksrtc quota from college. Application invited through college website. Shortlist candidates based on Kerala Engineering Entrance Rank and Separate Admission process is done in college. Students can take admission in the date provided by college. And spot admission are take place to fill remaining seats at college after all Allotment process. Lateral Entry Seat's are also available to Second year and separate allotment process are done. There is an opportunity for College transfer and branch transfer based of vacant seats.

Being one of the oldest Engineering colleges in the country it is a privilege to be a student of this prestigious institution. With a legacy of over 80 years and counting it has been producing talents with likes of E Sreedharan consistently.

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
