Remarks:

The college ask for additional unethical fees,like annually ask for pta, lab fee ,maintaince fee in every semester,fine for not attenting any occational programmes.fine for violating college dress code etc.

Remarks:

The college was started functioning before 2 years of my joining,that is in 2012.The college campus is excellent on a top of hill.Greenery everywhere.The placement information they tell at the time of admission are worthless words.

Being one of the oldest Engineering colleges in the country, boasting of 80 years of academic excellence, famous and respected list of aluminies from E Sreedharan to Nambi narayanan, it is a privilege to be part of this wonderful institution.

Remarks:

There is only one negative remark in our college it's there is no hostel facilities by government(there is one hostel by government which permanently closed before 7 years) , it is the only negative point about our college

Admission:

After Selected in Kerala engineering Entrance. Select the expecting colleges from portal, then got alloted for that college. Rank in entrance must be high in respective years for getting selected in this college.

Remarks:

A very great place to discover one's true abilities.Noone will pressure a student to study or get good marks here.You need to be responsible for your own academics.75 Percent attendance is required to write exams.Personally,a negative point about the college is that there is no online fee payment option.Students need to stand in long queues for several hours often without food,to pay money in cash.This could be improved.Everything else is just fine :)

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
