Admission:

Two set of exam 1. Physics and chemistry 2.mathematics Each for 480 marks. 120 questions. Comparatively easy exam Both test on same day Rank list is published based on the 12th standard physics chemistry and mathematics marks and scores in the test. More weightage to the 12 th standard marks.

One of the negative remark is campus politics is strong here. So some students go for strike and party programs it influence there academics. And a good point about my college is the students are from different part of india. So we can study india during our college life

Remarks:

Academic structure is best. Students even follow the politics division which causes conflicts in the college. They attack students in the names of groups. Also fights leads to anger and personal issues

Anna University is ranked as follows:

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
