The best thing about college is its RAGGING FREE campus. On my first day in college, i met many friendly seniors and they were helpful during registration and all. College is having balance of technical and cultural activities.

Entrance Preview:

Admission to the college is based on the applicants score in KEAM entrance examination conducted by the commissioner for entrance exam kerala. The examination consists of two papers paper 1-Physics & Chemistry and Paper 2 Maths. The total score was out of 960 and my score was 432.

I have written KEAM exam and had good score which gave me options like JEC, Vidya colleges for admission.I choose to study Mechanical Engineering in JEC because my cousin sister was already studying there and the faculties .

Remarks:

Our college infrastructure is very good . Each departments are competing themselves to show their strength and they conduct different fest to improve their talent. Bad thing about my college is our college canteen and snacks bar are not very good we have to improve a lot on that .

College is the best , good friends memories n I miss it very much but the management is very bad personally I hate it and new rules has been in picture that made our life after passing out is kind of in the balance , one can say money eating moron's are on the management.

Anna University is ranked as follows:

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
