Remarks:

It is good that it is directly under the government.There is vast area for the college.Most of it is unused.it should be made used the facilities are good and the hostel and mess is superb too.

I took the Kerala Entrance Examination.I actually opted for this college because of my sister as she said Chengannur Engineering College is a reputed college and the job opportunities and placement chances are higher than most other colleges.

Bad management. College is not running in a proper way. No placement opportunity and lack of adequate space. No auditorium or stadium. Sports is not encouraged. Also quality of teaching is average. No hostel facilities. College is situated in a remote vil

Entrance Preview:

I had written kerala entrance examination and had achieved average marks for it. Still I opted Rajagiri college and joined here in the management quota seat. I preferred Rajagiri because it brings me alot of oppertunities and offer me a chance to excel in my society.

Anna University is ranked as follows:

The current world ranking is 1168. The national ranking is 25. Education Rank is 530 in terms of quality. The alumni employment ranking is 1488. The research Performance Rank is 1111. The overall rating is 69.3. 

The University's Main Campus covers 189 acres and is bordered on the north by the Adyar River and on the south by Raj Bhavan. The Madras Institute of Technology at Chrompet is the University's second campus, spanning 52 acres. Taramani, Chennai, has a third campus that spans 5 acres. These campuses have a variety of buildings that serve the University community's various needs.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.

It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
