- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus

- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.

- It's a vast college and it has a nice natural beauty.
- Class systems as well as college surroundings are good.
- Good supportive teachers are present and they support as like our mother.
Dislikes
- Staff in the account section are not good as they don't give correct explanation to our questions.
- We cannot vaccate from hostel or bus as we want they focus on money.
- Hostel food is not nice and not at all clean.
Course Curriculum Overview:
Civil engineering is a nice degree and it has many scope like structural analysis, quantity surveying, environmental engineering etc. They have better scope for foreign countries with high salary. They also have government related jobs like Assistant engineer, Junior Engineer etc.

The college provides good placements.Many companies are available.Faculties helps the students for their placement process.Many great companies like TCS,infosys, cognizant,etc are visiting the college for placement.Around 60% students are getting placed every year.

Placement Experience:
The campus placements here are very good and especially in the computer science department the highest package was 34 LPA and it is very huge considering comparing to the other colleges in this state in every branches. There are placements like this with an average of 10 LPA so the employment rate in our college is a bit high.

- The faculty incharge and all stages are well trained
- The portion are completed on time and are properly explained
- The infrastructure is fantastic and modern
Dislikes
- The college is very strict and can be stress full
- The fees is high compared to govt colleges
- The campus life is not so great compared to other colleges no events
Course Curriculum Overview:
The college follows The ktu syllabus.The syllabus is kind of outdated but does well in covering the basics on all the relevant core topics that is required in the industry.
The exams are conducted regularly they come up every no and then so it may be a bit difficult to tag along

- The mess food is the best...it's so tasty also and they do try to offer a lot of varieties often..and won't stick up with the same food.
- The college atmosphere is also good and the ragging is strictly prohibited..
Placement Experience:
From S4 onwards, Placement Training takes place..from S5 onwards There will be permanent Placement classes and from S6 onwards you can register for the companies and from S7 the companies will contact the Placement cell and will conduct the 3 or 4 rounds for Recruitment process...and select the Best ones.

- There are very much room for improvement of your social skills, various clubs are highly active in the college and conduct programs often.
Dislikes
- The location, the roads are crowed. The traffic. Located right in the middle of kollam city, and the rush is something i really want to avoid

There's certain boards and committees within the management that are actively looking out the best methods to improve the students quality. I choose this college. The timings of the exams are a mess and hectic I feel like there should be more time given for the students to indulge in self improvement and studies

- Strong alumni network is one of the important positive side of ktu. The strong alumni network is very important and beneficial for the students career.
- University has a well equipped lab libraries and other facilities that support overall development of the student. University also support research and innovative ideas.
- University mainly focus on industry oriented curriculum so that the students get practical knowledge in a well manner
Dislikes
- Limited campus life is one of the major issue faced by students from the University. By this limitation students are unable to meet their needs in extra curricular activities
- Exam pattern and it's schedule is highly hectic and it creates unwanted stress in students. Limited no.of working days and holidays make students worse at the end of the semester
- Slow processing of paper and lack of transparency is also another challenge. Official website got time out during important day.
Placement Experience:
From 5th semester itself students can sit for placement. College offering a wide placement opportunity. But the amount of students getting selected is less than 20 from each department. Different companies for various departments are coming for placement. Coming to my department there is a only 2 or 3 companies had only visited our campus. L&T , tata,etc are major ones. The package starting from 2.5 lakh to 8 lakh per annum based on the skills offered by the student.

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
