- 8000 is tution fees here and lots of scholarship like e grants and many other for students and lower caste people getting more scholarship...as a aid ... and it's nice policy mcm is a good scholarship
- The faculty to student ratio is appropriate they provide great support highly skilled faculties good quality mentoring good in interactions and helping in study they reach out to us for any help regarding the syllabus
- Life in gec us best best policy,best pics and best freedom here is best and nice we can think well and well established life here is peace peace fullued with peace no dugs no other misallenious activities in gec
Dislikes
- The ladies hostel in our college is the shittiest ever .
- There is no playground's in my college so we missed a lot of activities there.
- No of students interested in b.tech is getting lower and lower by year

- Scerene Campus. The scenery from the campus and hostel is good.There are a lot of beautiful plants and trees.
- Some good hotels nearby to have good food for a change from the campus hostels.
- There are some good teachers who are valuable gems. Their good minded nature soothed me during my tough time.
Dislikes
- Lack of growth oppurtunities.It is all about studying according to syllabus. They do conduct some add on courses but they never check up whether the new tutors are good enough or not. We just end up wasting 2-3 days as nothing good came out of it.
- Bad attitude from the management. They are all about collecting money from you. They behave well with the parents but not with students.I had to call my parents over to college to check up something related to fees as they were reluctant to answer me
- Many teachers and students judge each other based on marks. The campus is quite strict. They just dont care about the mental wellness of students. They conduct 3 internal exams a sem . They also provide the question banks in advance .
Placement Experience:
Students are eligible for placements from S7 onwards. The placement statistics say around 60 -70% of students are placed but that doesn't mean all are happy with what they got. Most of them have packages ranging from 1.5 to 5 Lakhs per annum which is not that great. But the placement Coordinator is really helpful. The placements also depend on the skills of the students. The college is trying its best to bring new opportunities. It lies in the hands of the students whether they pass or not. Many also choose for higher studies and also go for off-campus placement opportunities.

- The college infrastructure is good and clean.
- The faculties in my department is supportive and teaches well.
- Placement is great for other departments such as mechanical or mechatronics.
Dislikes
- The KTU calendar is short and have to learn things that actually require 6 months in 3months.
- Placement opportunities have to be improved for many other departments.
- Nothing much that i can recall in my mind for now.
Placement Experience:
The placement opportunities varies from department to department from the mechanical and mechatronics having the most placement compared to computer science and artificial intelligence and data science.

- There is a good library in this college. Lots of reference books and texts are available here. They also provide digital library
- This college has a calm and quiet campus
- They provide quality education and placement.
Dislikes
- Lab facilities are not better for an engineering student. Most of equipments are complaint
- Canteen is too small. It is not enough for the students.
- Campus is good but it is too small. Auditorium is not enough for events
Placement Experience:
7th semester students are eligible for campus placement. Only the final year students can attend interviews. Air india, BPL, Cyrix, Infosys, etc are the main companies which contect interviews. 70% students get placement offers from campus placement. I also planned to get a job in this companies.

- The infrastructure and the lab facilities of the college is very excellent. The college invest a heavy amount in lab infrastructure
- The college canteen is one of the biggest canteen in kerala with a very good menu for all the students from all the regions of India
- The environment is maintained very neatly even the smallest of the plant is carefully maintained
Dislikes
- The timing of the college is little haptic for the new students but it will get okay on the coming semester
Placement Experience:
From the beginning of semester 7 students are eligible for placement provided by the college any student who are interested in placement can register in the placement cell and all the help and assistance are provided by the placement cell. Very good companies are coming for the campus placement which provides a very good package there is average of 12LPA package available for almost all the companies.Not only the campus placement the placement cell also works on placing the students after there graduation a cv when provided by the graduate are given assistance in placement.The placement cell of the college works very efficiently.

- There are qualified professors and lectures, They are well planned and oriented.
- faculties are very good . They conducts seminars, assignments.
- There are surveys for mid term end term surveys for students.
Dislikes
- They have a very bad website, the server always is slow , the quality of evaluation is very bad,
- There are very high restrictions in campus and Principal is a worst one.
- They focus on theoritical subjects rather than experience
Placement Experience:
There is a great placement oppurtunity in ourcollege during 4th year there are campus interviews , placements and training sessions.etc . Try to do internships or courses which enhances your skills. Around 50% students passed got placements , the average packages are 4-6 Lpa . after getting degree i wouldlike to work for some time or go for MBA in IIM.

- The college provide many placement opportunities to the students. They provide placement classes separately for students.
- The college campus is very good and eco friendly with many trees . The infrastructure of the college is very good.
Dislikes
- The college need to improve the sports activities.
- The college hostel should be opened all time.
Placement Experience:
SCMS SCHOOL OF ENGINEERING AND TECHNOLOGY provide 100% placements for students. The students of semester 7 and semester 8 are eligible for campus placements. The companies like TCS Infosys etc used to come for college placements.

My college provide pretty good in campus placement last year about 240 students were placed with average package of 4lacks per annum some of famous recruiters are TCS MRF SUTHERLAND IBM AMAZON INFOSYS

- The computer science department is not so efficient

The college placements are not so good as compared to any other colleges like Sree chitira Thirunal college of engineering trivandrum or College of Engineering Trivandrum. No good companies are approaching the college because the college is not well known.

Course Curriculum Overview:
The curriculum followed is as per the ktu ( kerala technology University). Since now its autonomous there's changes in the curriculum. For my batch, there was 2 series exams in a semester. The teaching methods are fine

- The distance between different blocks of the college is too long
- Climate is really tragic. During summer it's too hot here
- Hostel facilities are not upto the mark especially the hostel food is not that great
Placement Experience:
Our college have the best placement opportunities in the district and the college also offers free placement training class for each students. From semester 7 onwards the placement cell gets opened and you can appear for placement if you have zero backlogs. Last time around 60-70 students got placed from this college. The companies include TCS, cognizant, polycab etc. And the packages are quit decent

ISRO has given Anna University the task of creating the "Microsatellite" known as ANUSAT.
It is the first university in India to have a satellite that will carry payloads for technological demonstrations. ANUSAT, which weighs about 35 kg and uses 40 W of power, will function as a store and forward communication station. There are ground stations at MIT, AU, and IIT Kharagpur. The total cost of the project is Rs. 5 crores, and a clean room is included. A facility for assembly is established at the MIT Aerospace department. The structure is built at the College of Engineering, Guindy, along with significant power and other electronic subsystems. Software for thermal, control, orbital, ground and payload systems is created by MIT and Anna University departments.
